  • Yes SF, in staying a month my requirement was for a studio apartment type room as opposed to just a bedroom. The PBR deluxe rooms fit into this spec however, Kim (owner) would not negotiate a deal beyond the daily rate. I did agree a monthly rate for a standard room however, after a few days I needed more room so moved on to a spacious apartment at LK Pavilion where I paid 18k baht for 28 days with my electric bill being 1,230Baht.

        • Will be staying here May 7-11. I thought it was a mistake when they said the price was 999 baht a night. I dont mind paying the deposit at all as its minimal and just pays for your first couple nights stay. The rooms could be charging a lot more and really like the fact that they allow breakfast for two to be part of the price. Easily the best value in Pattaya going right now.

Anyone know if the free breakfast is available all day long?

Because of the location I ate breakfast there everyday.

In general the food is overpriced but sometimes you just want to stay put by the pool.

            • The restaurant is pretty average. The breakfast deal is good till 11am.

I'm a big fan of the Pattaya Bay Resort, but I feel that they have dropped the ball with the restaurant.

I think that they have franchised this part of the building off and just refuse to accept responsibility for it.

              Oh well...

              • Pet peeve of mine is having to eat my "free" breakfast at an inconvenient time. If it's a buffet I understand. If not, a customer unfriendly policy.

Food's OK at the PBR, just too expensive for Pattaya.

                • Breakfast is decent I'd say. American breakfast to me is what I'd get at IHOP. Nothing of the sort, but still good. Only till 11am and not good for room service.

                  • A guy on another forum booked for low season '08 and is getting the pay 6, get the 7th night free discount that was available last year.

This is not mentioned on their website. But suggest you ask for it.

                    • PBR Breakfast Menu

Good menu for both you and your girl.

But the 11 AM cutoff is a bummer.

                      • Talking about breakfast, those hot dog things that they try and pass off as sausage are fucking horrible...In all my travels I have yet to find real sausage in LOS...you would think with all the pigs (and I don't mean the police or the falangs) they would have some decent pork sausage...Does anyone know where to find....

                        • Oscar Myer Weiners are available in The Villa... (at a shockingly high price!)

I agree with you that the pasteurized plasticine they call 'hot dog' or 'sausage' is nothing short of inedible.

                          • I may have missed the post with this information on it but how much is a nights stay in a standard room which looks pretty de luxe and is it - as Bangers- Bt 500 for a guest. If the latter, unfortunate. Charging for a guest used to be a Bangkok habit only. Pity if its now spreading to pattaya.

                            • check the website for current rates - link is on page 1 of this thread - low season rates are 999 Baht/night for a standard room, 1300 Baht/night during high season.

1st guest (if you are alone in a double room) is free, 500 Baht for each additional guest.

                              • Not a great deal now at 1300 a night and location is okay but tons of current contruction projects next door. Lots of dust and dirt and loud noise.

If you look around and nearby you will find better places as in nicer rooms at rates of 900 plus with no noise and steps away from transport.
