Yes I do Kahuna....Palmers Restaurant in Soi Pattayaland 2, adjacent to the Penthouse Hotel. Good sausages and sensational back bacon.
When ordering breakfast, one orders the sausages as a side dish however, I usually drop by around tea time and settle for sausage, mash and onion gravy while asking them to go easy on the gravy

Booked in i had emailed them a moth ago asking about the hotel they where damm quick in response.

When i booked the other night i emailed them and 30 minutes later i had a confirmation damm quick.

For my first time to pattaya i hope this place will be fun place.

You can't go wrong here.

No hidden extras, everyone is friendly and the location is pretty good, too.

That measly 999 includes full breakfast for TWO, WiFi, registration of guests so you don't have to worry about age and robbery! (They call you before they let them go.) Great security. Fantastic (and cheap) laundry service.

Cleaning every day plus two bottles of drinking water, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and paste.

The rooms have large thick curtains which actually DO block out the light and the towels are fresh and thick, too.

Linen is clean and the rooms are great. Notepad and pen by the phones, a large fridge and plenty of electrical sockets.

The pool is always spotless (extra free towels for that!) and the small library and well equipped gym are pluses too.

If you have checked in before then the next time you check in is a matter of signing your name and collecting your key! They do the rest for you!

For 999 baht you can't go wrong and that's why they are almost fully booked all summer during the low season!

There's a farang there running the show and he DOES give a shit...

I just had the same experience as bigdave, made an enquiry and had a response within 30 minutes.
I requested a Deluxe (smoking) room, the GF enjoys the odd gasper.
They advised I was waitlisted for a smoking room, but if one was not available I would be upgraded to a 1 bed suite.
I've stayed there before and Stogie is right it's hard to fault the place.

I was sold a long time ago no issues what i have seen here and on hotel websites it seems to have a very good rep.

Yes with all that you think you be paying 4 to 5 star rates. My favourite in bkk the majestic grande is 2000 to 3000 baht and you do not get the wifi free etc.

Hopefully i will write a report for all whe i return in June.

I thought about deluxe but on consideration i belive the tv is to far from the bed ,do not want to risk the loss of a lady boy who graviates to th tv lol. All prices are great the looks of th rooms are great also.

To get back on topic, I feel like I'm 'going home' when I check in at the PBR.   The staff there are very welcoming, the rooms are first class, and I know that 'The Boss' keeps a close eye on competitors' prices.  The number of times it is 'fully booked' make me book ahead now. I met one guy who told me he was on a 3 month stay.  I'd be surprised if there is better value at 999 baht for the standard room.

The American breakfast is great ..... REAL scrambled eggs, cooked to my taste, not any powder version.   And the Asian breakfast is aroy maak too - Pork Noodle soup  

Like Stogie, I appreciate the 'security check phone call' when a guest collects her ID card.

For location  .. ie. on Soi 13 ...  there are a couple of other places I stay, on rare occasions, but for me this hotel is my Pattaya #1

That's going on the two days in a row that I met the maid waiting on the stairs until he got out of bed mid afternoon!
