Has any one stayed at Pig & Whistle at soi7..?

I once stayed at Rosie O Gradys next door , cheap large rooms , DVD player the works , spot on .

The only draw back is the place is a resturant , so you gotta march your LBs through a lot of open mouthed English and Irish guys , it didn't bother me though and I doubt very much if it would bother you Billy .

i loved my stay at the penthouse a couple years back , but have since heard they were infested with bed bugs -- anyone know if that problem's been solved?

only other drawback i found there -- the room was heavily stocked with everything from bar soap to champagne -- and *none* of it was free! yeah. you open the soap, you buy it. kinda crazy. it can prove convenient, but if you're bringing some less-than-known LB's back to the room, kinda hard to keep track of what gets used or "disappeared" overnight.

Excellecent point TB.  I can recall an overnight guest taking an ashtray   Odd part is she was not a smoker

Pars-Place looks pretty fair...is it discret entrance...or do u walk past reception and other roving eyes ?

 I would imagine its pretty discreet if your worried about that.

Its not a hotel as such so wont have that many rooms and the restaurant closes at 9-00pm

Contact the owner if in doubt, he's a nice and helpful chap named Bernie

Looks OK..for 700small room or 750 for the big one.. i'll make a decision which room to take when i get there... and they got separate entrance by the rood between soi7&8...only booked for week ,if i like it i'll stay for 3 weeks....
Any one stayed there..???

After 3 trips to LOS last year and one to Cyprus..

Plus £ was 65bht few months ago and now 49bht..
So for us guys from U.K, holiday in LOS willbe 25% more expensive...So we got to cut some corners..

I went looking for a new place to stay a few days ago, ran across:

Eastiny Plaza on Soi 8
in the middle of the soi, across from 7/11

There are a few places in the Eastiny group but this place is about a year old, beautiful pool, big room, good chair for working, big bed and lightning fast, free, wired Internet. 1200 incl. breakfast.

Check in next day, go to the beach, come back along Soi 8 about 5:00pm and barfine very cute, small, feminine LB from beer bar. Go to the hotel, they take her ID card no problem.

1:00am, I walk in with another LB, one I've been with about 3 times before. This one is taller but still pretty feminine, but dressed very scantily. The bellman points to a sign by the elevator that reads something like "do you know the lady? We take ID card." There is no reference to LBs. I say OK, no problem, you can take her ID card. He says to the LB (in Thai). "This hotel not like ladyboys, but you look same as lady, maybe you are going to not make a problem?" The front desk is hesitant, muttering to each other in Thai. I just interject and tell them in Thai to put her name on the registration of the room. They stop muttering in Thai and tell me OK, but if they do that, she can take the key for the room as she is a resident. I say OK, they put her on the registration and give her the ID card back and up we go.

So the bottom line, I brought in 2 LBs at two different times, one was welcomed the other was hassled. AVOID EASTINY if you want to bring ladyboys into the hotel. Pity actually, the room is great, the Internet is lightning fast, the breakfast was great!

I should have read the mention on the forum of Eastiny properties being unfriendly to ladyboys. Som num naa to me!

Checked out this morning, went to Flipper House on Soi 7, the conversation went like this:

EyeMahk: "I can bring a lady into the hotel, no problem?"
Flipper: "Yes, no problem"
EyeMahk: "A ladyboy is OK?"
Flipper: "Yes, OK, but better if you bring 2 or 3. You holiday, I want you happy!"
