  • You should try the Gulf Siam on Pattaya north rd..
A bit out the way but...they don't mind us doing Busby Berkley numbers
at ungodly hours, shouting to each other from room to room instead of using
the interroom phones, flashmobbing the pool and sleeping in three hours past
the checkout time...now THATS ladyboy friendly!!
Seriously,if you are in Pattaya next Songkran you should book a couple of nights
    there,it's a riot...

    • I got to mention Sandy Spring on Soi 13. It's a nice place and LB friendly, at least for one at a time to my knowledge. It's a quiet street and right around corner from Stringfellows. 1390 gets you a room w/ a balcony.

      • I stayed at the Sabai Inn on soi 2 for a few nights last night and it was totally fine for me. 'Fine for me' means no packs of shaven headed knuckle-dragging 'oi oi saveloy' shouting tatooed louts chasing up and down the corridors at 4am and especially no camel jockeys in attendence.

Rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, large and comfortable. The superior rooms go for 1000 bht a night and inlude a larger bathroom with Western size sit down bath, blitzing power shower etc. Plus you get kettle, tea coffee etc and an electronic room safe. No pool but that's fine by me. Plus my La Bamba LB seemed most pleased, although that sweet smile could have been down to the fact that I bought her out of the bar for three nights on the bounce of messing the sheets up with her DNA.

                • I sent him a pm about that already - so I think Thays will ok now.

As for the question - best to check with your hotel directly. Generally most hotels will allow 1 more guest if you booked for a double room without extra charge. However, if you decide to try 2 or more guests, some will start charging for the extra people.

As far as I can remember the Markland has not been commented about yet.

                    • no hassle but they hold her id up front so you must stop by reception. I don't know if they let you up with more than 1 at a time though

LK Renaissance Soi Diana (Part of LK Group including LK Mansions)- tey were making some huge discounts back in Feb when it opened - about 2500 per night - nearly opposite Areca Lodge
These are the two hotels I recommend to my friends visiting Pattaya.

PBR is at the top of it's peer group at 1000 baht price point and LK Renaissance at the top at the 1500 price point.

Been looking at staying at the LK Renaissance myself for a few nights in November, I like the look of the place and facilities on offer.

                                Bathroom Amenities
I had a beautiful tiny balcony with a view of nothing more exciting the empty construction site
But at least I wasn't staring into someone else's room 10 feet away like so many other hotel balcony's

LK Renaissance is a great choice, I plan on going back. I like the jacuzzi Bathtub.
The room also comes with a stereo with USB reader. So get a cheap USB drive and copy some MP3 songs on it. There is also a DVD player.
