I met Franck once, and to me he was an ok guy, despite my having reservations beforehand because of the "antics" he posted on this and other forums regarding his playing with his staff, but i found him to be a regular nice guy.

In life we have ups and downs. Surely for franck this is a major down. I am nearly convinced that he did not intend any of this to happen, and that he did not go out of his way to defraud people, but i could be proved wrong. I feel that if he did do this, we would never have heard from him again, and he would have got a whole lot more than he took. What has he to gain from posting here now?

To say he "stole" money i think is a little harsh as i am sure at some stage he intended to pay back,and certainly did not intend to ruin Batman's holiday.

A day the earth stood still & the universe shifted just long enough for a cold snap to blow into hell. In case you missed it, Franck has offered up the mother of all Mea Culpas.

Franck has said he is sorry & he sounds sincere.

No word yet on my & Batman's, [& others] money but we have moved a long way from where we were two weeks ago.

Stogie's criticism notwithstanding, I want to put onto the record my thanks & appreciation of what you have written. I wrote earlier that Franck needs to come out & apologise, & fuck me if he hasn't done just that. It does not repair my bleeding wallet but yesterday I never expected events to change so fast.

Yes Franck, you probably will need a new suit of armour, you know you are not universally loved but as I repeatedly pointed out through this thread there are many others walking free, guilty of far worse. That excuses nothing but you cant be recognised from the nasty post you sprang on us with your attack on Rossco.

What happened Franck? Did they change your medication or did you sit down & read how you sounded & decided to turn over a new leaf? I mean a few lines sound like you lifted them straight off one of my posts - asking Batman if he can't forgive can he put the hate behind us? I nearly fell off my chair ! But at least you picked up on my theme of moving on & I don't care which line you want to use if it means we are closer to burying all this crap.

Stogie had a lot to say - what did you expect? But then I see he will apologise to you in person when debts are cleared. And so will Batman, who has endured all of the delays with good humour & patience. Two men who have been amongst your biggest detractors are prepared to shake your hand & let you get on with your life once you finish what has been started.

You can reasonably expect to be able to return to Pattaya if that's what you still want to do. I never accused you of theft, you just have taken a long time in repaying me. There is a difference. But before you can expect a fairy tale ending, what are the chances of repayment?

You sold Sam a partnership in a bar that you did not own. When Sam was discussing the deal to become your partner and wanted to have a meeting with Ricky (Martial) the Frenchman, do you remember what you answered?
You said that if the Frenchman knew that you were discussing a sale of the bar, he would demand some kind of payment in return. You also stated that it would complicate your efforts to have the Frenchman leave and vacate the room he occupied in the 131 building. The last thing you wanted foolish Sam to know is that you didn't own any part of the bar and you had no legal right to "sell" any part of it.

The figures are true, but it seems you didn't own 131. So what were you selling to your "partner"?

Later on you loan me 100k through Alis (which somehow I got only 25k!!!) with the interest of 10% per month, granted with more 25% of the partnership.

Yes, that 100k you demanded and begged me for during my May visit. You listed a list of debts you needed to close as a reason for the loan, do you want me to list them? Part of your debts was the little thing of a required capital infusion in Club 131. Yes, it seems that 131 was not able pay its bills; rent, electric, water, salary, taxes, sublease rent, etc. Why? well it seems that Franck was just pocketing the daily sales take and not giving much thought towards paying the bills coming due so to prevent the Frenchman from seizing the bar and throwing out everyone something had to be done.
So the first thing to be done you remember that day in mid-May 2007 was to force you to give up financial control of 131 with Alis handling all the daily deposits and payments of all bills and the payment of 1,000 baht to you. You remember how you complained about receiving just a "tip" of 1,000 baht per day that you could not survive on it?

Another reason why you only received such a small amount from the 100k loan was that we had to make sure to pay all the debts directly to the creditors and not to you. You remember the debt to the mob that was guaranteed by Porn, the cashier?

As I couldn€™t pay, you got the majority of the establishment with 75%, which obviously leave me with only 25%.

You know the reason why the terms were so "hard" on you because the loan was meant to be repaid. The last thing Sam wanted was to hold a majority share in a bar while he was living in the USA.


All the things I bought, belonging to our partnership were still there when I had to leave the place €“ Sofas, furniture, PC, new monitor, alcohol, interior video circuit with a recorder machine, etc.etc.
All the described items with a (low) fair estimative of 200k.

Everything is still there with the exception of the paid for stock and two of the chairs from the mezzanine. The Frenchman claimed to be holding it for you so we could not take them with us.

Furthermore (in front of you), the Frenchman had guarantee us an indemnity of at least 50k if we wanted to leave the place (25k to each one of us).

Now why is it that the Frenchman is still demanding we pay him more bills from our stay in 131 instead of presenting us with 25k. Maybe you can sent Martial an email? [email protected].

All together, being generous and NOT counting the bar profits between October 1st and December 1st, you owe me now (at least) 25% of those goods (about 50k) + 25k total = 75k, which could be paid, for instance, to batman€¦


Unfortunately, since the bar received a police visit in October and found the few unauthorized Thai songs you seem to have downloaded cost 131 over 25,000 baht. Also during December, the Frenchman presented us with a demand to pay him 44,000 baht rent for the month of December. When we pointed out to him that it was paid on the 1st of December, he answered that we paid November rent on December 1st because he and Franck made the arrangement early on to pay the month's rent at the beginning of the following month. So whatever profits we were able to get really did not exist when we finally vacated the building.

Another: In one of your recent posts you write (or Rossco write for you) something about BigDaddy went to 131 claming 100k!!! That is another lie but even so, I sent 2 emails to bigdaddy to clear that bullshit. So far I didn€™t get any answer.

I have never met the man but if you dealing with it by sending him emails, I will instruct the staff to tell BigDaddy  when he next comes to the bar to collect his 100k to read his emails.
