  • (katoeylover @ Jan. 14 2008,12:21) I met Franck once, and to me he was an ok guy, despite my having reservations beforehand because of the "antics" he posted on this and other forums regarding his playing with his staff, but i found him to be a regular nice guy.

In life we have ups and downs. Surely for franck this is a major down. I am nearly convinced that he did not intend any of this to happen, and that he did not go out of his way to defraud people, but i could be proved wrong. I feel that if he did do this, we would never have heard from him again, and he would have got a whole lot more than he took. What has he to gain from posting here now?

To say he "stole" money i think is a little harsh as i am sure at some stage he intended to pay back, and certainly did not intend to ruin Batman's holiday.

    • I can't really comprehend why so many grown men are worried about getting ripped of money, lied to and abused by some shit pot small town bar owner.

The reality is we get ripped of every day by our own governments a lot worse then by this guy Frank.

Who really gives  a toss. Have another beer, find another cute LB and fuck your brains out and trust me you will feel so much better in the morning.

      • I'm sure there are plenty of lb's and board members who have said not too many complimentry words about you too and me for that matter.

I'm sure you don't lose any sleep over it and i'm sure as my arse points to the ground Frank don't give a flying monkeys either.

You echo my feelings toward Franck exactly.

                            • I met Franck a number of times....albeit we were not what you would call good friends...and I'm not certain KL is too far off the mark...He never asked for or hinted to me that he needed money...I think he is just a guy who got in way over his head...well both of his heads...and I don't think he believed that he had any other options to keep his ship and habit afloat...

If he was a true grifter...he certainly didn't know how to go for the big score...

Did he actually walk away or fly away or float away or sink away with big baht in his pocket?

And why in the hell are we still talking about him?

When I was last in Pattaya, May '07, I was there for 3 weeks or so and went to 131 maybe 10 times. When I agreed with katoeylover, I meant I met him once, as in one vacation period, not one instance on one day.
All I can go by was how he treated me, and as just a customer, it was never a problem. He was always friendly, personable and helpful.
