People on these forums seem so lazy.... 20-25 min walk is nothing.
Try doing that in Oman inland

I actually enjoyed the walks, its the GG's & LB's that don't. OK theres half a chance of getting rolled walking back late at night, so take transport then, you'll proabably have some company who doesnt want to walk anyway. It really isn't that bad.

Don't underestimate the importance. You might want to stop back at the hotel to get money, take a shit, brush your teeth, take a shower,, change clothes, whatever. A quick pit stop and back out.

Especially if your hotel is in between the Paradise and Bangla.

I get lazy when I am on my holidays!

The rooms start at 1,490 Baht for the smallest. Seems a bit steep for the boonies. At peak season the cheapest room jumps to 1,990!

Sunhillis sub 1000baht for studio rooms, & sub 800 for delux rooms, which are OK, but this is only out of season. I agree its a hike & can be a bit of a nuisance.
I don't like the NaNa scuffy rooms, the place isn't that well look after & for 100baht more a night you can be in the Majestic Suites much better, nicer staff. Its in the right place & thats why its popular, Majestic is just round the corner, about a 1 minute extra walk to NEP.
I can only assume you guys are saving your energy for shagging!

                  Deluxe out of season.

Can anyone recommend a great top place in Phuket near Patong? Bam is the Marriott there close to the action or too far away? Which hotels do you recommend that are top of the line and LB friendly?

you know it is a gay hotel? (not that there is anything wrong with that as the old Seinfeld saying goes)

Because of its location that was the first thing i thought, but i asked a few people who have stayed there and they said it's a regular hotel

I highly recomend the Rendezvous which is a gay hotel but does not have a gay vibe, it's more like a private building than a hotel.    But if being gay or gay friendly freaks people out then the apartments across the street advertised on the Koh Joy website would be a good choice.

Both places are a minute away from the Royal Paradise and u can use their pool for 100 baht.  their pool is very upscale resorty, very nice if you like that sort of thing.

I looked at the rooms at the Royal Paradise and I didn't think they were all that great.  I thought my room at the Rendezvous was nicer. However I would book a superior room or better since the standard rooms are quite small. A ow floor is preferable since there's no lift.

Royal Paradise is not primarily for sex tourists and it's often reported that they charge a joiner fee, so suggest you get their guest policy in writing to avoid misunderstandings.

Paradise Complex is not that big but the northern end is gay, gay, gay while the southern end (Rendezvous and Koh Joy apartments are on the southernmost soi)  is very sex neuteral.  The southern part is also closer to Bangla.

Maybe Lefty will check in with a report cause I think he's in Phuket now but he might be too busy getting his dick sucked.
