Last October I stayed at the Rendezvous Hotel. Its close to everything, ladyboy friendly and cheap. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff and a nice guy runs it. (Belgian I think). Its in the paradise Center. I can give you more info if you need it. You can book it on the internet. I booked for 2 days and ended up staying my whole 12 days there.

if you lookaround a little you can find places as cheap as 5000baht a month,, if you try n pay for 2 weeks or 3 youll pay more, their thai and dont understand this, they will tell u straight to your face,, 2 weeks 9 thousand baht,,(day to day rate) and the month is 5,, try n see....they only know day to day or month....for 5 to 7 thousand a month youll get a one room with balcony n fan or air con,,tv and fridge,, what else do u need.

I concur. I also like the Rendezvous. But suggest you book a superior room or better as the standard is on the small side, think it's only an extra 100 baht for the bigger room.

Btw-it's directly across the soi from The Place To Stay, the apartments formerly owned by the Koh Joy people.

Niether place has a lift so low floor is better.

Neither place has a pool but you can use the pool at the Paradise Hotel which is a minute a way for 100 baht.

Both places are in an excellent location.

How cheap do you want it?

You can stay in Bangla House, in Bangla Rd Patong 1000Bhat/Night. It is DIRECTLY opposite Cocktails and Dreams//Seduction NightClub/Disco,  Tiger Entertainment is on the other side.  A little noisy until 4am, but who goes to bed b4 then anyway?      Of course it's guest freindly, you can bring in ANYTHING so long as your responsible for it. Walking distance to everywhere and you can't get much more central than that.

thats a nifty map of Phuket showing all the hotels, guest houses etc. You need to be near Bangla Road, thats where its all happening. I'll be there over songkran, cant wait.

Hi everyone, could anyone please tell me if there are any good (5 Star) hotels near the Ladyboy scene in Phuket? I am planning a short trip there and would like to taste the scene there , and are the hotels ok with it? Thanks guys

There's a very good 3.5 star place 50 m from the beach and a 5 min walk to Bangla Road in Patong. Its called "Horizon Resort and Spa" It has just had new management in the last 4 months and has had a good clean up and retro done. Its cheap as hell. Stay 8 nights and pay for 4 with full buffet brealkfast. The room rate works out at 1360 baht per night over the 8 nights. Its got 2 pools, gym and a cafe and restaurant. When i take my guest i go through the back entrance( so to speak ) and have never had any problem. Others have told me that if you take your guest throught the front desk, they take ids and their is no joiner fee. To me the 5 star joints in Phuket are over priced and full of happy families who like to stare and point.

i stayed at the avantica hotel..small boutique hotel..no family stuff very lb friendly ..great rooms and very clean..
about 7 minutes walk from the action..
