Just one thing about Nova platinum hotel. A friend of mine stayed there last january and told me that is not so much lady boy friendly. In fact he felt not so confortable to enter the hotel with ladyboys because of the people inside and also because of the reception's employed. In my opinion this is a very nice hotel but for mongers that are only into ladyboys may be it's better to chose other options.

I've never encountered any problem with the staff, and I've stayed there 4+ times.
Not saying it didn't happen to your friend, just that it might depend who is working there at the time. For me, no problems.

The guests are a lot of Russians, but none of them seemed to notice I was w/ a LB.

Just spent 2 days at Areca Lodge...nice. No wi-fi in room though....1400 baht for 'Deluxe' room. Not far from beach but a bit of a hike to Walking St.

Was 'with' so didn't stop but saw some scary things down there.....

Spent nearly 2 weeks in August Suites and I can really recommend it.

The bathroom is big, clean and bright. The only point is the water temperature regulation which is a bit instable, but the water pressure is strong which is more important...






The pool is big, has an whirpool and cooled me down

Another GG forum suggests that you can get 1300/night (incl. bkfst) at August Suites by asking for it and saying you had a friend stay there for that price. Even lower by the week. Looks great ... I think I remember reading that they charge for Internet in the room, though.

Hi EyeMahk,

no the definitely do not charge for the internet, it is for free and it is very fast by the way (1024/256 kB). You can use either LAN Cable which will be provided to you from the reception or the WLAN, which i never tried though.

Staying there longer than a week they charge 1300 but without breakfast.

Anyone stayed at the Pasadena lodge as I am looking to stay here in December. I like the location. I imagine its LB friendly????

I stay 4 Nights at the Pattaya Bay Resort. I can say for this Price really good Choice.
The Rooms are clean and big enough. I stay at the standard Room and Deluxe Room.

- everyone minding their own business

I thought about the Haven Hotel for my stay in October, as it is at walking distance (without too much sweat) from La Bamba, and perhaps a bit quieter than other sois.
But what you say about this walk of shame kills the fun.

Mary & I stayed there back in March, for 5 or 6 days I think & We had no problems at all. We had breakfast every morning, used the pool, sat in reception, chilling on her lap top, all staff friendly as you like with both Mary & Me'self.
That was My 2ND stay & would go there again without hesitation !
