Went through the whole thread, not to much mentioned about Nana Hotel. A few comments but not too many.

Price seems good at around 1300 baht, the restaurant is good and they offer free breakfast buffet. The swimming pool looks great and really close to the action. Looked at a room in Nov 06 and it looked pretty good. Stayed at DIG and loved it but considering the price difference.

Any comments.

The general thought is the Nana is a little "Tired" now and does not offer good value for money.

However the location is great!!

Nana was past tired the last time I stayed there which was about 20 years ago.

I'm booked to stay at DIG when I arrive at the end of this month, for 2,280 baht each night. Does anyone know if they have a suite and/or standard upgrade available for additional money? (I have the question pending with them but haven't heard back.) I'm willing to spend another 1,000 each night if it seems worthwhile.

If you are prepared to spend that, i would get a deluxe room at the Majestic Grande.

Very ladyboy friendly, and a great hotel to boot, and closer to Nana.

Thanks for the recommendation. I checked it out and it's 4,200 according to their reservation system for the "Grande Deluxe". Probably a bit more than I want to spend, although it does look nice. Decisions, decisions - - live is good!

Also, daily internat card at MG is 600 Baht. Free at DG

If by suite you mean 1 bedroom apartment, not available at DG

I Dont know why you Vicarians dont go straight to The Dynasty Grande for 2350 bt or the Grand Busines Inn for about 1300bt..........

and save between 1200 and 2300bt per night.......

great, another plug for the Grand Business Inn! Really it is very nice place to stay, guest friendly (even for more than 1 extra guest at a time - I've had two overnight no extra charge and happy to throw in extra towels and soap!).

Free high speed internet in the room, via network port, and free wifi in the lobby and restaurant for your laptop, plus 2 work stations in lobby (for those without laptops).

It is only about 15 min walk to Nana (20 to Guess Bar) and if you walk fast like Dave Duke does , it can be done in 10 and 15 min respectively. Check out the room pics in my previous post, room quality is about par to DG or MG and less expensive.

I will have an upcoming stay at the Grand Hyatt....its a business stay not pleasure (well I will make it both!!) Usually I always in DIG, Pres Sol., MS or MG

I searched the forum but could not find any comments - is the GH LB-friendly? Anyone stay there? Any problems?

I saw mention of LB's present in Spasso disco so I assume they are ok...how about 2 guests? Any issues with that.

Appreciate comments from anyone who has stayed there.
