Yes, I need to take care of you and make sure you don't buy anymore air-conditioners or cars for Eye & Jane. Can't wait to be back sitting on a tool oops I mean  a stool at Big Dogs watching the world go by.  Â

My shopping list keeps getting bigger everytime Jai-dee and Stogie post new girls so it may change before August but this is my list to date.

Do we really need a shopping list before going?
I could make a list before going in August but figured just wing it and see what looks fresh that night
Anyone have Info on a newer hotel named: Â Bangkok City Suite at 1 Petchburi Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok, 10400, Thailand
Seems Rates are only about 700bhat
SD,
Re:Bangkok City Suite
I checked this hotel out on several websites and came to the conclusion that the location is difficult and not near BTS or MRT stations. Also the Pectaburi area is gridlocked by traffic so it could be expensive to get in and out to Nana. You can check the reviews on most of the hotel websites. if you want a cheaper place have a look at sahara hotel bangkok. Have not stayed there but I believe it to be in Soi 5 very close to the action and cheap.
Not looking for cheap but rather 4 star quality at a really good rate. Â That place seemed good due to its only 1 year old and rates are rock bottom but now we know why, thanks Buddy
(katoeylover @ Jun. 29 2006,05:14) SD - Try Either The Dynasty Grande or Majextic Grande, both 4 stars and good value at about 2500bt, great locations and no hassle with guests.
Just spent about 3 weeks at the Dynasty Grande...
Soi 6..great hotel and very friendly staff....about a 5 minute walk from Nana...
Right now their rate is 1800 bht...really good value...It is very LB freindly...only problem for some might be the rate is only for 2 people...You and one guest...if you bring a second guest they charge an additional 500 bht per night...and breakfast is not included...but their restaurant is very nice and inexpensive...
I think their rates go up in October to the 2500 bht range....
I will definately stay there again...........

Just an update about the Dynasty Grande - I stayed there again last night and because I booked the same day, they only had the new wing rooms available.
New rooms are currently 2280baht a night and are larger and better furnished than the regular rooms - the differences are marginal at best but the decor is slightly different. These deluxe rooms though are quieter as they do not front the street and have a larger bathroom. There is also a DVD player in the room and at last they have put tea and coffee making facilities into the room as well as two extra hand towells in the bathroom.
All in all this still remains an excellent choice for LB friendly accomodation at a good value for money price considering how well done this hotel is. As I have said before, dont try and compare it with the regular Dynasty on Soi 4 - they are poles apart in terms of quality of product.
Hi everybody,
I am going to spend next week in Bangkok and I am thinking to book a room at the President Solitaire. The hotel looks great and there is a very nice SPA.
The only think I need to know is if they make you any trouble in case of LB.
Maybe you already answer about that, but it will be very helpful if somebody will let me know his opinion or his experience.
Hiya Wembley, first two trips stayed at JW , no problem at all, had one daytime guest, Benz, who came dressed to the nines come right up to the room, no need for her to id herself at desk, when coming in with me, not a care in the world amongst staff, gonna be ther in sept too, this time majestic grande, just down the street, pm or email me if u wanna hook up at big dogs
Great Hotel 4 star but a bit far down Soi 24. Tuk tuk to BTS but close to cafe and supermarket. Lots of Japs so everything is expensive. Good blow hotel in Soi 24..........can;t think of the name, but half way down on the left side.
