I met 'young sped' a couple of hours after this happened, and he looked older than me.... alright I exaggerate, but he really was shaken!  So good for you sharing this advice on the forum.
Didnt put you off Veronica & then Pattaya, though?  Making the most of the other 8 lives I guess?   So you're down to 6 now?  

I got knocked down by motor bike in Chiang Mai     Sometimes I think I've died & gone to heaven, then I realise I'm just returning to my new interests in Soi 4 (and Soi 1)

Tonight on the way back to the hotel from Guess Bar, Thaibound, myself Anna and Allis decided we would take a cab rather than walk the less than a mile back to the Dynasty (i know, we are lazy!!)

We grab the first cab outside the bar, and not 400 yds later, the car's engine overheated and we had to get out.

We get into the second cab which then cuts through the Burmungrad hospital carpark to get on to Soi 4 towards Nana. As soon as he turns, the cab in front stops and he ploughs into the back of him!

So we all get out again. Luckily cab number 3 gets us back to the hotel!!! TIT!!!

I was walking from the Dynasty Inn to NEP one night. I walk out of the Dynasty, turn right and a short distance later I come to that little lane that goes into the back part of the Dynasty. I was looking down watching for those shit-hole covers that never seem to stay in place so that I would not trip. I step down into that little lane and slam rigt into the side of a huge elephant that was standing there. The elephant turned and picked me up with his trunk and slammed me to the pavement and then stepped on me. They rushed me to the hospital where I spent 2 months of the rest of my 3 month trip to LOS. Take heed guys, don't come to Thailand. Go someplace like Brazil.

flassitor I don't think your very funny.

The fact that the interim government is having a hard time getting a case against Thaksin to prove the corruption charges can't help the situation. It gives his supporters some hope and the sooner it can be resolved the better for Thailands future, so they can move foward.

Also assuming who is responsible for the bombings.
