I've been thinking about this for a LONG time - especially since I live here - and I still don't have a good explanation.
Its not the Muslims, their method is to kill people (pathetic) -- If it was them it would be a lot bloodier
Thaksin organized -- I don't see the upside, he wants to create political turmoil - but the way to do that is street protests and violent confrontations (which he has been trying to do, but fortunately turnout has been lame).
Non-Thaksin Organized - this is plausible, some Thaksin/TRT supporter who is pissed and just randomly striking out. The fact that the bombs are small and look like the work of a small disorganized
/underfunded group adds credibility to this theory.
Current Government - Trying to blame Thaksin and shore up their support. Doesn't wash at all, since they haven't blamed anyone they just look incompetent.
Previous Government - The pre-1997 government trying to discredit Thaksin and the CNS so they can be a credible alternative come election time....too far fetched.
Ladyboy Liberation Front - no lipstick found at the scene.
Punk Ass Kids - 'nuff said
to sum it up - none of these sounds too plausible which is why I am still confused. But if I had to pick I would say pissed off TRT supporters working alone.
