I don't understand the point you're trying to make with this. For the US, we entered WWII officially when Pearl Harbor was destroyed. I would venture to guess that most Americans know that.

Yes, world war started when Nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939, but America was still something of an isolated country at that time. In addition, it's not like Prime Minister Chamberlain did much to stop Hitler either. Oh, and if you'll remember correctly, we didn't enter WWI until much later in the war either. What is your fucking point?

And if you want to be even more correct, WWII started in Asia in the early 1930s when Japan invaded Indochina and whatnot.

I would have to agree with this. The US has been acting for their own self interest forever, but this latest criminal fraud where toxic debt was blessed as AAA by corrupt ratings agencies in order to palm it off to the central banks & sovereign funds around the world has condemned them in the eyes of all.

And the comparisons to the Roman Empire are valid, though the world is too different a place for any superpower to ever again hold sway for 800 years.

But central to the collapse of Rome was the decision to dilute the amount of silver in the coins paid to the Roman soldiers in their farflung outposts.

This created an enormous backlash with the reduced purchasing power of what was the coin of the realm. When the Barbarians arrived at the gate, too many disgruntled soldiers didn't answer the call to come home. (Yes I know that is an over-simplification but it is well documented.)

Today, the Fed is also diluting the spending power of the US dollar by increasing the money supply at an incredible rate in a desperate attempt to forestall their own financial collapse.

Astonishing to me, it has emerged that the world simply cannot allow the US or the US dollar to collapse. That would take out the entire banking system of the world.

The governments of the world have a gun pointed at their collective heads to arrive at a solution to this incredible dilemma. The US simply must be bailed out.

HOWEVER, once a new banking paradigm has been established, watch for China, Russia, the Mid East & others to seek revenge for the massive destruction of their wealth.

They don't like this situation one iota & these guys all have long memories & also have plenty of anti-American form.

In less than a decade, I fully expect the world will be at war & nothing will ever be the same again. Others may argue all they wish but that is my studied opinion.

It might be a bit more than a decade but its pretty much on the ball. The Gaia guy, James Lovelock, reckons that by the end of this century only a Billion people will be left standing...i agree...

I think relative to others the USA is pretty well off..but theres always room for complaint, naturally.....

I think the Somalies that live in the USA are high on the credible danger list at the moment. Dont cars kill more people than wars anyway thesedays

I live in a federal relocation city..... what does this mean?

scattered throughout the country are certain cities which they want to populate with foreigners to tip the scales and make these cities look more like, say, the Bronx and L.A. county? Cambodians and Somali's lead the list here, you see people walking the streets in the middle of winter in their flowing robes and very dark skin, with a laundry basket or groceries balanced on their heads! Looks strange but not scary; I don't begrudge them for trying to make it here if that's what they want, but it sure looks different and they don't fit in one bit.


The Cambo's and Viets stick together.....  it's not like when we go to Phnom Penh or Saigon and have the pick of the litter of gorgeous 18 or 19 years old girls....try it here and you will not even get spoken to and also have the wrath of her extended family coming after you. Very typical for 12 or 15 of these people to live in the same house together, Puerto Ricans and El Salvadorans also, with most of 'em collecting welfare from the government and unable to work because they can't speak english!

Remind me once again why we brought 'em here?

          I think it's best I will be checking out from this planet and this life in 30 or 40 years {hopefully!}, as mentioned above it won't be pretty for very long.
