to be honest, i have been with (at least 2 i can remember) ladyboys who have laughed about customers that pay them lots and called them stupid.

They say what you want to hear. These aren't real conversations. The same girl that shares an intimate moment with you about how a stupid trick overpays will complain to the overpayer about the ones that don't "pay them lots!".

If you are old then the girls say "I like older man." If you are young they'll say "I like younger man!"

If you are fat they'll say things to you that'll make you stay away from 'low fat' yoghurt for life! Thais are very affectionate in a superficial way.

I'll bet you (or anyone) has never had a bargirl who said "You know what - that poor Jap guy last night offered me too much so I insisted that he only give me the market rate, bless his heart!" Or "Well, you are a bit older and fatter than I personally prefer but I suppose you'll do!"

So many people get into trouble in this country because they believe what they hear! Lots of love and sex starved people with no experience of pretty girls get hypnotised into thinking that they are somehow worth more than they really are.

I am a fat bald man approaching 50! No 19 year old girl working in a bar is actually gonna feel physically drawn to me without the promise of money at the end of it. Would these girls really notice you as a stud in your own country?

'Pay for play' in Thailand is a game of charades. Stay in character and you'll be fine. If you think the game is real - you're fucked.

Know your limitations and think with your head and put your heart in the night safe when you go out! (Better still - check it in with customs when you fly in!)

My squeeze from Friday told me she "like older man - dunno why!" Well - this may be true but why did she feel the need to tell me?

When I first landed on Planet Thailand I would have eaten this stuff up and felt really good about myself - maybe for the first time in years and maybe for the first time ever!

When I go with her again (and I will, for I am drawn to her like a muslim to suicide) I'll be hoping that she says "I like a man who sweats a lot when he's fucking and has breath that smells like an aborigines armpit!"

I think that a girl like that will 'complete me' and I'll definitely overpay her regardless of what it does for me ol' mate Britt on his next trip! I just won't be able to help myself!

As for the example of that guy I can proudly say to have not and will not ever make claims like that (waiting around 4 hours for a "Freebie"). I say I'm tight sometimes but never a jackass or delusional. Whoever that guy was should be put out of his misery IMO, an obvious bottom feeder.

Reading many of the posts I think it's obvious that beyond my 20s I can see myself like a lot of you. For me the initial moment of "bargaining" doesn't or shouldn't last long. If it does last long then you are an asshole. I am not an asshole, either an agreement is QUICKLY reached or I move on or just pay up. For the religious there is that saying, god give to those who just ask. A guy can't be blamed for trying to save a buck but if he makes it an unpleasant scene like I'm sure James Brit is good at doing, well then, Etiquette 101 should be revisited.

This isn't a fast food experience Bud...there is no drive through at Nana...

Thailand is a full course sit down gourmet experience...(although I understand that some guys do like to supersize the order)...

I go to LOS for the epicurean delights of the ladies...not for a cheeseburger...

If I wanted a cheeseburger I'd stay in the USA...

Perhaps that's something YOU should think about...

Won't be throwing my money around tomorrow night in BKK:  Just for Halloween, Happy Day Special, Barfine in at least one bar in Nana increased to 1000 baht so I am told.  

Told Mamasan 'no problem, I will just offer LB 400 baht less'.  Or was it a sales technique for tonight?..."Take me tonight, I more expensive bar tomorrow".

Maybe off to McDonalds instead 31/10, to surprise a 3* service girl!!

Honestly though, it is Pay 4 Play, and like everything in life, the more you pay, the better the play.

Last trip, I payed 3000bt for most longtimes, less than £50 - and all were fantastic. One short time (Anne from Casanova) 1500 bt, and then she wanted to stay!!
