Over the years (13) I learned a few things that make me free from these things happening to me, not even a tantrum.
Thais help me change for the better, I learn to trust my instinct, I am more calm, I show respect to people that I don't know, I never make people loose face in public and I don't check my brain at the airport when arriving in Thailand. I forgot to mention this one who is the more important in the P4P never make any promises you can't keep or intend to keep or rise any hope you can't fulfil or intend to fulfil.
On the farang side you have to learn to choose your friends or company because farang attract problems like a magnet, the same ones who are checking their brain at the airport and the ones who are only thinking with their cock. A few I met over the years bring their already bad behaviour from home.
I drink when I go out but stop short before my drinking start to impaired my ability to make good decision. I allow myself to be drunk only when I am with people I know and I can trust that mean people I already knew before getting drunk.
I avoid all girls or ladyboys who are on drug because we are not speaking about someone who smoke pot here but people high on yaba, it€™s not difficult to detect looking at their behaviour and chatting with them.
I learn to trust my instinct, when I don€™t fell at ease in a situation or some little alarm bells start to arise I will avoid to pursue on that way, I don€™t brush off saying maybe it€™s me who is not thinking right. When I feel that the situation start to get bad in a bar even if I am not concern in this situation I pay my bill and go out.
Never, never loose your temper in Thailand and this apply the P4P scene and never make a Thai loose face and this is particularly important in P4P scene.
About hope and promise, some of the guy will tell you that they never promise anything but their behaviour are saying the contrary, they will be with a girl or a ladyboy for the most part of the evening touch, grope, caress and kiss but suddenly some other girls or ladyboy comes and they dump the previous one without any tip, a sure way to make someone to loose face. If you touch grope and do that kind of thing you are bringing some hope that you will take her out and by switching to new comer you are saying that she is not good or the new comer is better so prepare yourself for the problems that may come.
Some guys are very good at making promises they don€™t intend to keep, the conversation goes like this: Tyrack you come back to bar for me tomorrow?
Maybe!
I give you my phone number,
Ok I call you or I go to your bar tomorrow.
The guy don€™t intend to call or go to that bar the next day but show up 2 or 3 days later at the same bar and barfined a other one thinking that this will not cause any problem because they are prostitute and they don€™t care.
Like I heard in a ladyboys bar, €œno problem you can choose a other one we don€™t compete with each other€ be very careful of the one you dump for the new one.
When in LOS I am there to enjoy life I am not there for a competition of how many I can fuck in a minimum of time. I make friend with the people I meet and I make sure to have good time before going for the sex, go dance, go to karaoke if the mood is right and most of the time I don€™t have dinner before going to the bar so I make sure to go eat before going to the hotel. A good fun in the evening before the sex always seems to make wonder in the bed.
My last advise, get a life and stop having a argument about 20 or 30 bahts.
Is it worth risking your health for a padded bill of 400 bahts?
Put that in the lost column and you can also report the problem in forum like this one.
It always amaze me to see a very drunk farang who was at the bar all night long having a blast with many ladies starting a argument about the bill that he is to drunk to even make the addition by himself. Where do you think the drinks the ladies have wile you have your blast are coming from or who is paying for them?
If you want to argue about the bill stay sober.
It happened for me one time in LAOS and I was with a friend who became aggressive about that and 4 doormen came to the table so I paid the bill and put that on the learning experience. By the way they did not pad the bill they charge for the ladies sitting with you at the table something we did not know before they ask to sit with us.
You will never have the last word in a argument or a fight in Thailand so avoid them at all cost.
I apply those simple rules when I am in LOS and I never had any argument not even a tantrum shown at me.
Just my two cents €¦.
