My guess is that they haven^t released the rooms to third party websites that far in advance.
Maybe AS realizes they don^t need 3rd party websites as word of mouth among mongers keeps the joint filled.
I think your right PD, word of mouth for August Suites may suffice now, Tripadvisor is full of good reviews of them as well now.... (#1 there is something called the Rabbit Resort, anyone familiar with it?)

So how do these compare to last years prices I wonder? They do seem to have an inventory of all room types so they obviously aren't sold out as I first imagined.
I just booked the adelphi suites at 69 USD a night in BKK, using 35000 agoda points, sweet!
Does anyone know if the Pattaya Bay Resort still has building noise?
i'm considering their deluxe room.
the rate is 1600, but take off 100 baht for the breakfast, and then use the pay 6 stay 7 offer, puts my 14 nights at
12 * 1500 = 18.000 baht + 7% tax = 19.260 baht
if august suite's location wasn't so shitty, I would consider staying there. they offered 1300 baht per night.
14 * 1300 = 18.200 baht, and their pool is much nicer.
Only the hotels that have installed large water tanks are able to cope with the water shortage here in Pattaya. Having the water cut off with no notice is very inconvenient.
Just another reason why I like to stay at the Penthouse.
As for noise issues, the double glazed windows here are very effective at keeping the noise out. I would not like the thin walls of the PBR, having to listen to the guy pounding the bed all night in the next room is not for me.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

How many hotels have water issues?
none yet, but Mabprachan reservoir is looking like a swamp after a draught.
if the rain situation doesn't improve massively, Pattaya will run out of water soon.
I've never seen the reservoir be full.
I hope the region government will use the King's patented method to make it rain soon.
PATTAYA: -- Sixteen people have been injured in a devastating lift accident at the Welcome Jomtien Hotel in Pattaya on Saturday. The group had entered the lift at the 18th floor before an unknown power failure resulted in the lift freefalling 10 floors before hitting the ground level.
At the scene, on the ground floor of the Welcome Jomtien Hotel, officers managed to forcefully open the lift doors to free the trapped people. Upon opening the doors, 16 people were found inside, in varying states of injury or shock. Five were sent to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital, while the remaining 11 were transported to the Pattaya International Hospital.
