I spend this month a couple of days in Phuket. I like to share some of my impressions.
The beaches (plural) are clean, not crowded, and are nice to hang out in the afternoon. The atmosphere is relaxed.
For those who like the scenery, there are lots of trips and more adventurous things to do.
There is entertainment 24 hours a day. The bar scene is much bigger then banglaroad. Everywhere in town you can find barcomplexes.

The places i like most:
Cocktail and Dreams. Just for the local folklore and to say hello tot the charming but sometimes annoying mamasan.
Rock City. Only for those who like live bands playing hard rock.
Toostie massage. Very sensual ladyboy massage.
Soi Crocodile. The best soi to find a sweet Ladyboy. Tequila bar and crocodile bar at the end of the soi belong to the same owner. The ladyboys circulate between the two bars. Some of the older girls have a real diva attitude.
Seduction disco. Mix of modern music and mainstream pop. Comfortable seatings around a real dancing floor.

No longer on my list is Tiger disco. They refused my LB companion entrance.

Recomended place to stay: tatum mansion in soi Soi Kebsap. Very friendly staff and English owner. It goes without saying it is guest friendly.

good to see this thread heating up, as I will be heading to phuket in a couple of days.

I have been there before and have always liked it.

It is a great place to vacation (and get in a bit of golf or watersports) and also a good place to party. Could you stay there for a month of pure mongering - possibly. But for a week or long weekend of vacation it is great.

my experiences - C&D is a cool bar to be relaxed and hang, decent ladyboys if you want to take home or just to spend some time. Bangla road has in the past been heaps full of groups of young ladyboys passing the time. Crocodile is a great mix - ladyboys dancing on the poles, retired aussie couples buying them drinks.

My faovrite trip was with 35 employees from China, most of whom had never left the country. Men and woman alike, the first thing they wanted to do on landing in HKT was "go and see some ladyboys". brought them to Bangla and it was photos and drinks galore. The Chinese are the new Japanese!!!!!

I will say this - nothing is stopping me from having fun this weekend!

However the general tone and negativity of the idiot that runs this site, is such that i really cant be bothered to try and enlighten him.

More than what LB69 can offer, this new opportunity gives you the chance to spread the news of Cocktails & Dreams on the largest dedicated ladyboy forum in the world & all you can say is you can't be bothered??      

After much lobbying by the fans of Phuket here on the Ladyboyforums, we finally have a new dedicated Phuket forum. It is not going to double your work load to C+P any post you put on LB69 & add it here.

Any keen entrepreneur would jump at the chance & I ask you to reconsider your decision.    

And for your information, Stogie's famous Phuket broadsides seem more tongue-in-cheek these days, the old venom hasn't been present for a long time.

Phuket will eventually outdo Pattaya for popularity so why leave it for the next LB bar to open there to grab prime position on this forum?

And so what if Stogie or anyone stirs the thread up with controversial comments? Have you not noticed that a debated thread is a well read thread. On the basis of any publicity is good publicity, regulars to LOS who have never been south will have somewhere else to consider.

And you would be a prime beneficiary from such visits. More drink sales & barfines, all welcome I'm sure. Think about some of the Irish contingent calling by, famous around here for a pint on a hot day.    

And better than that, you may get to entertain the hierarchy of the forum, they'll give those fellas over at LB69 a run for their money when it comes to boozing & bonking.

Plus, did you notice this thread is 12 months old, the previous post to yours was from Feb 2008. Lots has changed Jim, a new year & we look forward to hearing from you.

Many good points there pacman. Maybe i was a little hasty after trawling through the site for a while and constantly finding "himself" making negative comments about the place left me a little pissed off ! Luckily there are many positive responses on here and i will take heart from them.

I hope you have a change of heart. We started this new Phuket section a couple of days ago with your bar in mind and it could be a good opportunity for you to 'spread the word' to an even wider audience.

In the past I have had an excellent relationship with the owner of your establishment and I hope that continues to be the case.

Either way - good luck and continued good fortune with Cocktails & Dreams.

You are at liberty to use this forum in anyway you can to make us more aware of just how great C & D is...

Welcome over here Jimbo, one of these days ole Stogie is gonna make that short trip to Phuket and see for himself what a beautiful place it is, I love it there. Perhaps your free flight incentive for June/July could also be extended to members of this forum, although I'm sure many of them are members of 69 anyway.
Certainly you excellent posts and photos of your bar; Cocktails & Dreams would be a welcome addition to the recently created Phuket section.

So not only do you have a pop at the owner, you also make a post for the competition.

Ask the other Bar owners what Stogie has done for them and i feel you may reconsider... Maybe you wouldnt have to give away free flights to get customers over...

Average guests here are always over a 120, compared to 25-30 over there, so it is a little shortsighted to come on here shouting the odds.

Edit: since i first saw this i see you may have reconsidered your views. Probably a good move
