Azza, I think I'm with you. Phuket sucks. Everyone stay away.

Divertwo...the main beaches are of course easy to find. However, the small cove ones are not, you are right there. Ironically, many LBs do not really know anything about Phuket, so often they can't tell you anything. You don't have to go North or East. Slighly north of Patong is Lam-Sing beach. One of the most beautiful around (maybe 20-30 min drive). Similar distance south is another one (sorry forgot name), just slightly south of the lookout; motorobike access only. There is one more mainstream 'cove' type beautiful beach called Kata-Noi, everyone will know how to get there. For true idyllism, go to Koh Phi Phi, a 1 hr jet boat ride. There are few other ones more North, but you needn't travel that far.

lam sing is wonderfull stop telling everyone about it ziggy or ill cut your jacobs off) mint took me there, one ladyboy who knows her way around phuket. i believe the one you talk of south by mororbike is called paradise beach, another wonderfull little cove beach with no fucking hoards

30 minutes away from a ladyboy bar in Phuket would be 29 minutes further than I'd ever want to be.

I get the impression though that even from the supporters of Phuket I can get more of what I want closer to home and more cheaply with less aggravation in Pattaya...

My first trip to Phuket and I had one night to myself where I was ahead of the rest of my friends and family and wanted to spend the night with a ladyboy. So I went out to Bangla Rd. and had a few beers, started chatting with what I thougth was a ladyboy - tall, thin and boyish voice - she was standing in front of a ladyboy pole dancing show and approached me. Long story short, she ended up being a wacked out druggy who totally ripped me off and took my wallet, gave it to her friend and forced me to get more money out of an ATM machine and then insisted that she drive me back to my hotel drunken on her motorbike. WTF! I was just happy I didn't get killed.

Oh, and she locked me in the bathroom in her room at first, that really sent me spinning and then the fight over money came and I just wanted out. She wasn't a ladyboy but a post-op psycho!

Be verrrry careful! I went home high and dry that night but plan on getting back there early next year.

Any younger guys in their twenties want to hangout, send me a message please. I could use a friend over there.

"Most" hotels? Who told you that crap? There are loads of guys on this forum who have been to Phuket, either taking lb girlfriends with them or finding them there.
