        • I have received a reply from Jesters re the charitable contribution.

          From Jesters:

          Hi Tony,
Thank you very much for your kindness and thinking of our charity drive. We really appreciate it. I am busy today with the organization of our annual golf tournament today, so will not be able to call you today.

I have your phone number now and will contact you at my soonest. In the meantime, I will arrange your certificate of appreciation.
          Again, thank you very much.
          Lewis (Woody)
          Chairman

My email to Jesters pledging the contribution:

On Oct 10th there was an inter bar Volley Ball competition between
6 Lady Boy bars from Pattaya/Jomtien - Sally's of Jomtien (Tim) proposed
Jesters as the suitable charity for their efforts.

The event raised 65,000 Baht and I would like to present this amount to you. The Certificate of acknowledgment should be made out to the winning team/bar: So What Bar - Soi6

Please advise how I may pay the donation and arrange for you to present
          the certificate to the bar.

It would be of huge benefit, for the future, to have Pattaya Mail/People attend the presentation. Appreciate your help.

              • (credits: Burenboy, video and pics, Tiger: low angle shots , ....)

                I quote LEFTY:
In the eyes of more than one observer, Ploy of Pook was the best individual player on any team. Though to say for certain is somewhat subjective. IMO, she was definitely one of the top 2-3 players overall.
A bit late, but it will be perhaps one of the last posts in this thread, and Ploy deserves the honor.

I was present during the 3 hours, and thoroughly reviewed all available pictures and videos...
When I watched the games, I was first and foremost amazed by the athletic performance they delivered, rather than the size of their... panties...

I have extracted various frames from Burenboy's video, and I am sure the technical frame analysis can complement and support Lefty's analysis. I will try with my bad English...

Ploy is for me the number 1 as her potential is way above any others.

Let us have a look at her technical skills...

In this 1st sequence of 6 frames, she positions perfectly her body, and starts her jump, with a forward move (going "through" the ball, c.f. tennis, golf...)
Have a look at the frames 1 and 2: she does not bend much her knees, and the 40º angle she has shows an excellent understanding of the ground factor. Going lower on her legs would give more spring effect, BUT, in soft sand, about 20 to 30% of the power is absorbed by the softness of the ground...
Stronger is the spring effect, higher is the ground pressure, and higher is also the loss of energy.
She does not do what most less experienced players did: going too low on the legs and when trying to jump, the feet goes first below the ground level before the forces are inverted and they start to rise...

Now the weapons is about to be fully loaded, energy is progressively stored, and the body is perfectly balanced ...
Have a look at frames 2, 3, 4. The lower part of her legs is positioned parallel to the ground and does not go further: the moves allow her to gain altitude without making a counter force bringing her down too quickly. Flying tempo.
If you play golf, or tennis (at good level), you know that when you are at the top of your swing, or when serving, there is a very short moment where the swinging part of your body stays for a fraction of second in the same position. It is the perfect timing where forces are compensated, and energy is about to be delivered... Have a look at frames 3-4-5-6: her armed forearm is almost in the same position, and has stored all possible energy flawing to the top of her bended body. The bow is ready...
                Explosion in frame 6.
At this point, she choose the perfect timing for unleashing hell: she is at the very peak of her jump, and the strong forward move she does will give her an additional fraction of second where she will glide at the same height...
I estimated her jump at 0.80cm, which is awfully high as...
                - minimum 20% of her energy has been absorbed by the sand
                - she does not have anymore the hours and hours of training such a preparation would require, and not anymore the body for contracting appropriately her muscles (especially shoulder and abdominals)

                Fire!!
Look at the frame 1! The delay in her fore arm is amazing! In tennis, it is exactly what top servers to; everything forward BUT the fore arm... In golf, it is equivalent to having your hands almost in front of the bal in your downswing, and the club shaft still perpendicular to the ground...
                POWER!
The smash has a flaw though.
She should have come in contact with the ball a bit earlier, with the ball placed in the line that would be top of her breast, and not her head. This will lead to a flat trajectory, and a slight loss of power as the hand had no time to finish the smashing forward move.
Unfortunately, a second mistake is done: she hits the ball 1 frame too late...
This will result in hitting the ball when she starts to go down, and this will open the trajectory and have the ball go to far.
This is perfectly explainable, as, on a hard ground, she would have had a perfect timing, with no loss of energy, hence a higher and jump and better timing.

Now the reception. She does not fall on herself. She does an excellent reception like a gymnast, keeping her balance through out the move, and being instantly available and ready for the next possible move, by instance, a return by the lady defending the net...

Now, look at her style when she is serving... (left image).
Balance, height, style. I can not see something wrong...
And the right image says it all: flying above ladyboys, public, palm trees...

I give the gold medal to this incredible lady, Mrs PLOY...

a froggy, lost in translation and in Africa... and no, I am not the one on the pic swinging a club ... I am the one holding the pin !!!

Excellent analysis of Ploy. I enjoyed it very much and I guess it supports her being named the Player of the Tournament.

Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.
