I´m surprised SF with players Kip,Lek and Salami didn´t do better.

Suzi really did not impress with her volleyball skills. Kip was ok, and I don't recall what Lek did one way or the other. As I said before, the real strength of the SF team was Jen, who has uncanny ability, especially around the net. Her serves are solid too. All in all, the SF team really looked like one that had not spent the amount of practice and preparation that So What and Pook did, which paid off for both those teams.

I talked to some of the So What girls while they were practicing in the weeks prior, Oa reminded me of this yesterday and thanked me for it, that while they were the most physically talented team, that they really needed to play as a team and not as 6 individuals. She said they worked on that aspect a lot beforehand and she was glad they did.

The worst thing now, is BB and I were getting programmed to attend practices regularly. Now with them not going on, it is really a let down.

It would be cool if some of the girls decided to practice 1-2 times a week year round, so as to keep their skills honed. Give BB and I something else to do. It can get so boring around here you know.

After some deliberation, here is the 1st Official 2010 Lefty Volleyball Tournament All Star team.

2. Jennifer, So What Bar
3. Betty, So What Bar
4. Fah, So What Bar
5. Jen, Stringfellows
6. Kwang, La Bamba

MVP: Betty, So What Bar, for holding serve once she took over with So What down 18-15 and serving for the final 6 points.

Most talented player: Ploy, Pook Bar. In my view and from the comments of several other observers whom I talked to, she was the single best player in the tournament.

Miss Congeniality: Nat, So What Bar. To look at Nat one would not expect a skilled volleyball player. She is rather slender, except for her impressive set of breasts. However she showed solid talent and that coupled with by far the best smile of any ladyboy in Pattaya, along with a sweet and charming demeanor, earn her this distinction.

Excellent Lefty, the only thing I will dispute is the year. Its still 2009 isn't it?

Maybe a case for Ploy being MVP of tourney and Betty the Championship game.

Great to hear Roscoe ralking about next year already. It would be good to have 2 groups of 4 each.  Top 2 from each pool go to the semi-finals with 1 playing 2 from the other pool and visa versa.  Losers go the 3rd 4th place game and winners go to Championship.

Perhaps have each bar choose a charity they would like to play for and then give out prizes to top three teams charity. Spread the wealth a little and give more exposure to Ladyboys doing something good for community. More charitys would benefit instead of just one.

Last idea is to have a pool where BM could pick winning team and Championship game score. 100 baht a pick and the winner gets half the pot, other half goes to charity pool or referees pay etc.
