The final score card..
Inside info told me to ensure that Pook and So What were in different groups.
The actual Final justified this decision. The final was awesome.
The other teams suffered due to lack of practice - "Practice makes Perfect".
Many of the teams played really well but as individuals and not as a team.
Many of the scores did not reflect the enthusiasm of that game - the energy and sportsmanship was incredible.
At one point there were over 150 People attending the matches.
Certainly, if the idea is to work again, we will need competent umpires. The volunteers on the day were brilliant but with so many variations on rules a Thai speaking umpire is a must.
If we have any more teams involved we will need at least 2 courts.
There is rumour around that some non-Pattaya bars want to compete next time.Comment

This is a pro forma set of accounts so all the generous BMs know where your sponsorship went.
There were three objectives to this event:
1) Raise money for a bona fide charity www.care4kids.info
2) Improve the 'image' of LBs in Pattya by showing they can do good work too
3) Help promote all the bars that support our interest.
12,000 Baht in pledged money still not received.
I am hopeful this will all be collected by early November.
In each case I understand as the BMs wish to pay directly.
Observation:
The BM sponsorship is 68,000 (including pledges to be collected)
Donation to Jesters (care4kids) will be about 65,000
So sponsors did not pay for a party but really did support kids here.
The winning team "So What Bar" will receive an official certificate of acknowledgment from Jesters.Comment

Nice one Rossco - I wish I could have been there. I was also delighted to see the lovely Noi managed to break away from the scissors to turn out for Sally's bar!
Good work chaps and remember the old saying, there's no apostrophe in Champions...
