I agree with you 100% - I have no issue with any opinions of staff of Guess or any other bar that are factual. As I have said before, I have been concerned that sometimes, the overall impression by posters of Guess is SO positive that it runs the risk of becoming unbelievable. Personally I like the 'constructive' suggestions as it shows the bar in its true form - it not perfect, its still new and they are still learning. Hoepfully they will keep clear of learning the 'bad' things that infect some bars and keep just improving what they do well. For sure, there are the odd problems, but overall, I think they have between them done a great job considering none of the management team had run a bar before.

At the end of the day, in the circumstances in which they are dealing, nobody should be naive enough to think this is (as Ziggy quotes so well) some kind of Mother Theresa bar.

I would have to say if you put that many hookers into one place at one time and no trouble thay all must be on something. No business is perfect the staff can be up one night and down the next and you as a customer could get stuck with the one certified nut case.

Then you throw in a bunch of drunks if all hell doesn't break loose on ocassion that bar is a biy boring.

I always try to negotiate a good base rate but tell the girls upfront that I will pay 'extra' for a really good time (and also a tip for discretion for the next time we walk past each other in a shopping mall when I'm with the family). Generally works fine for me. Obviously its a bit hit and miss with some of the girls and you never quite know what kind of experience you will get. I always think this in part justifies some of the high fees charged by the fillipino girls - at least you get a decent guaranteed level of service and I always get the discretion.

Nice post. How true. The negotiated rate should be honored by both and a tip for good servive is always fair for both. However most of the bad performers always ask for extra afterward anyhow along with taxi money. That is just SOP for them.

I would like to draw attention to the Fern post a few months ago - there was a misunderstanding/miscommunication between Fern and a client regarding long time vs short time. As a result a lot of posters slagged her. After this event some Trip Reports have listed her as "fanstastic" "great time" etc. and long time as well.

So even though 3 guys reported this with Ohm, I would not say this is something she should be black listed about. For those who do not read things closely, she is fairly new to the P4P scene, perhaps 3-4 months into it. I would say be very specific with her and clear what you would like her to do, agree on the fee all before you barfine her. This should help avoid problems - also if you are well endowed, be sure she understands this as well.

As noted there have been other reports on this forum and others that say she has given good service.

that was my posted complaint and i wish i'd never made it. i had a great date with fern. so great it hurt me to have her take the money and duck out suddenly and prematurely on her LT agreement with me so she could get home to her jealous thai boyfriend.
