If someone had told me before the world cup that Argentina would come third I would have laughed at them.

it looks like argentina may enter the try nations or the six nations and play in spain

I'm Proud of England too, we have done better than we could have hoped, I don't think the disallowed try was a try so we can't complain about that.

If only our football team could put in that effort

Yeah, why is that? As an incredibly frustrated Australian who watched our side not be able to break down the English game plan, why do you say didn't deserve?

They beat Samoa, Tonga, Australia and France in just over two weeks. Sounds like a worthy finalist to me.

If you meant, they play fucking ugly rugby and aren't pretty to watch I totally agree but that's a different matter altogether and I think I have posted my opinion on it already.

Greece have already qualified for Euro 2008 whilst England's chances look slim.

Getting back to the rugby - South Africa were the best team in the final and deserved to win. Those claiming that they were the best team in the tournament forget that they did not have to play New Zealand, Australia or France.

To win a tournament you always need the combination of a bit of luck with the draw and a good team.

The England team were a credit to the nation and deserve our thanks for contributing to a fantastic tournament. The French should be congratulated for organising the best Rugby World Cup Tournament
