Let this be a lesson to all of us. As we visit LOS more and more we feel more comfortable and let our guard down, especially when sharing drinks with fellow LB chasers or GG chasers. The minute a bar owner asks a customer for money let's all raise the "red flag" and say to ourselves "No Fucking Way" and then repeat this statement to yourself and then move your lips and say this to the nice bar owner asking you for money. "I have a principle that I have followed all my life...I never lend money and I never borrow money and I am not about to break this rule for anyone!" Let's all recite these words and Patts and LOS will be a better place for us all.

In reading this thread, I am suprised by two things:

1.That there is so much wailing and nashing of teeth for realatively small amounts of money. The best I can tell Franck "borrowed" a little less than 200,000 baht for various sources (which has not been repayed). By my rough calculations this is only a little over $6,500 (I think I spent that on my last two week trip to the LOS). Surely $6,500 is not worth the hours spent by the board members in making posts to these threads. I guess I would be more sympathetic and consider Faranck to be a "master criminal" or "pirate" if the amounts in question were somewhat larger. The relatively small amounts seems to argue that Farack's sins where those of omission rather than sins of commision.

2. I suprised that any farang is foolish enough to attempt to open a bar or lend someone money who opened a bar (and then continue to bitch about there own foolishness).

  a  bit off -topic here but just slightly....  while surfing the web a bit yesterday I checked some other forums which discuss the topic of ladyboys; none even come close to this masterpiece here, in terms of total members posting and the quality of the posts, as well as ease of reading it ..... also the sheer volume of new posts and threads; I mean, this thread about some dildo from pattaya scamming westerners has 9 full pages after just 1 week; amazing.

    Stogie did a great job with this message board, it's far and away the best one out there for this subject and we should all be happy to have it.

Am I missing something ? or is this some kind of therapy to forgive
