A show of good faith is paying some of the money back even if it's a very small amount.

For example, if Franck were to Western Union Batman 5K or 10K baht it would show something.

Paying absolutely nothing is an indication that there's no intention of paying.

Pacman, your forgiveness is admirable but your stance would have more credibility if you acknowledged money lent to Franck is gone and people have the right to be angry about it.

Don't worry about the reunion being cancelled, I never gave it much chance, but we will have our own party next we meet up at La Bamba.

As far as writing a book goes, sorry, no time for that but this tale of loss & intrigue is worth a book.

Hi PD. A most reasonable thing to expect but in the case of Batman, Franck straight out didn't have it. The night he spent avoiding him was more of a horror for Franck than Batman if you think about it.
Batman was deservedly getting angry because he could see he was loosing his 100k, but the nightmare for Franck was that he knew he was loosing everything. His reputation, his status on the board, his place in Pattaya society, these things can't be replaced with money & that night he must have been desperate to prevent it happening.
I don't know what happened that day, I can only think that he had either just received some money & couldn't ask again so soon or if I recall he had been away & wasn't going to be near a Western Union in time to collect.
I know his problem will receive no sympathy here, I wouldn't expect it but Franck was a very sentimental fellow who would have known this would be the beginning of the end.
And the nightmare is still continuing. . .
