I'll post a little story here:

About two years ago there used to be a biker who would be seen swearing and raising his fist if people in front of him on Siam Country road would not move fast enough to his liking.

I was stuck behind one of those mobile shops and he was behind me shouting foul language. When I saw the coast clear I put my indicator on and started to overtake. He swerves around me, shows me the finger and takes off at breakneck speed. Now if this guy was not high on speed I'll give a Hell's Angel a blowjob.

I heared similar stories from friends that travel along that road regularly.

A few months later there was a report that an illegal Burmese worker was run over by a bike. I saw the pictures on the web and it was indeed the same bike. The biker survived - the Burmese guy was dead.

We have not seen the guy since. He was probably deported -he was lucky. If he would have killed a Thai he would be in the monkey house for a long long time.

I believe two things:

1)If Thais would smoke ganja instead of taking ya-ba, ice or drink lao khao this would be a much better place.

2) A little toke with a quarter Viagra is the ultimate sex -enhancer.

But I would just have a little puff before leaving home.

Even though I know I would escape deportation (know some bigshots that would bail me out) I would not take the risk.

Here's the thing you don't get, chucklehead.  You take the number of times you come to Bangkok in your life and multiply it by the number of your fellow chuckleheads who make the same trip and get up to the same stupid shennanegins while they're here, and that practically guarantees that a fair number of chuckleheads lose that bet every fucking year.

Thailand's prisons are filled with literally hundreds of other smart guys, just like yourself, who thought it was "no big deal" to do a "stupid thing once in a while".

You see, this requires math to understand and flunkies like yourself have a tough time with cypher'n, so I'm going to break it down for you:

From your point of view, you look at it and say, "Hey! 95% odds of winning! I'll take that bet!! Wooooo!"

But from any sane point of view, we'd say, "Hey, why would I risk a total clusterfuck like that for such a pissy little reward?"

You think it's "no big deal" because it was "just one time" (even though you said you'd definitely do it again).  But take a walk down to your embassy and they'll tell you that they deal with dipshits like you on a DAILY basis.

No-one can be in any doubt about the forum's abhorrence for drug use & the risks of involving hookers in the shared use of them, after the point was made so perfectly clear in this fascinating thread.

But the one aspect that I find amazing after such a blood letting is that Rocky has done much to redeem himself & has actually come out of this better than he started.

Quite an effort considering the hole he doug dug himself into with his first post.

Under sustained criticism from a few guys here, he fought back much to my surprise, totally belying the picture that we had all drawn of this gung-ho cowboy who deserved a good kicking for his stupidity.

Not for one second am I endorsing his holiday MO as clever or acceptable but I have a completely different opinion of Rocky than the one I started with.

Not bad for only a handful of posts in what can be the most hostile of environments - a public forum where you are defending the morally indefensible & up against, among others, Doug, our Uber-Attackdog, one of the best when it comes to holding the line in a sustained argument.

I hope for two things for Rocky, that he doesn't walk away from the forum after such a well fought defence & the other, that he takes on board the advice that was so freely offered to him. And if he chooses not to, then other members may not be tempted to dabble when they get the same offer.

While I would say what rockstar did was stupid, risky and not in his best interests I wouldn't go as far with some of the theories on here. I believe that the guy has made a mistake.

Doug may be rated as the best in holding his own on the forum but there were a fair few comments that were out of order IMO.

There is absolutely no need whatsoever to start to bad mouth someone's mother. You actually deserve a swift jab for that, there is no need for cheap shots.

The first post that you made you called rockstar a junkie. I have known a few in my time and from what rockstar is writing he does not even come close to being one, although this can only be decided upon if you were to meet him in for a prolonged period.
