As you know I have been to Sunshine many times..And never heard of any one paying joiner fee there..Plus
Residences Wing has a different entrance..and a 100bt to the security guy you can take any one you want to your loom..Which I did few times...
Planning on visit to Pattaya mid Feb. Looking for hotel that offers in room security, close to the action and is ladyboy friendly. Considering the Hard Rock, is that a good choice???
IMO that could be the worst choice in Patts. Try any hotel on Soi 13. They are nice, priced right, LB friendly or whatever you are bringing up to room. AA hotel is nice. The new wing is awesome and has in room safe, two pools, nice lobby, nice brekky, etc. The owner is a marathon runner so if you get up early drop off the LB and take a run with him!! (if you have any extra energy that is). Also new computers (6) in lobby...Hi-speed and work well.

For your "in room" security, do you want armed or un-armed?
Stayed at "Tim Boutique" in November for 6 nights. Ladyboy friendly, very clean and hotel is in top shape. Close to all the action just at the soi behind "Tim Bar" on second road.
Good place if you want some where reasonbly new. quite and close to most things. In got abtter deal from my travel agent then i did direct. Only paid $48 aus per night with breakfast. Also the transfer to BBK was only 985 baht if you use there driver.
Thats good to hear. When I asked at the hotel how much for a room they quoted me a price over 4000 Baht, AND they had a big sign that only registered guests were allowed.

4000baht , there dreaming if they ever think they will get that. As i said I got a better price through a travel agent back in Oz and I guess they sell most of their rooms to wholsalers.
I also saw the sign you mention but just gave the bell hop 100 baht first night and then was never a problem.
Its a $50 oz hotel and is worth no more then that.
I had the same problem...I wanted the same same you but all booked...So staying in a room noseaview.....
I think they have only 8or10 Deluxe seaview rooms..
If you are still going to stay in Sunshine...get a room at Sunshine Residences...not the hotel..
For my next trip in Jun.. I'm going to stay at Areca Lodge ...
