No catch other than the are lots of good rooms at this pricepoint.  And it's a different class of lodging than the other LK properties.

For example the low season rate at the PBR is 999 with 2 free brekkies and the 7th night free.   Lots of good monthly rentals at these prices too.

Hi thanks or your reply but the Mansion does seem GVFM as I only like to stay in hotels. When booking do I need to specify to stay in the new wing to get the best room

PBR is my abbreviation for the Pattaya Bay Resort which IMO is the best value hotel in Patts during low season. If you were to stay exactly 7 nights it would work out to 855 baht a night which includes 2 free breakfasts per day plus free internet in lobby (or free wifi in rooms if u bring your laptop).

Btw, I just saw a place for 4500/mo (plus elec and water) today. Small aircon room and the place even has a small pool.
That's only 150 baht/day for those on extremely tight budgets.
Not a shithole but the window looks out into a hallway, the bathroom is very small and the bed not the most comfortable.

Too good to be true:

I just checked their room rates on their site with my glasses on. It's mentioned:"rates are valid from 01 March 2006 until 30 October 2006. Believe it or not.

LK Mansion seems not to update their website. Their low season price is 800 baht, I believe high season is 1000. Just call them to make a booking.
