Hi Guys does anyone have any info on this hotel I have just stayed at the Renaissance and wondered why the prices are so cheap compared to other LK Hotels.
I understand It's a long stay venue for those on benefit and a totally different accomodation experience to the one you have just had.
If you are looking for something only a notch or two below Renaissance then have a look at LK Pavilion on Third Rd.
Here is a thread I implemented, most of Pattaya's Ladyboys who are worth a have stayed there LK Pavilion, a pictorial review.
I can't recommend the LK Pavilion enough. Thanks to Mr. Pen tire it's been my home from home for the last year.
Love the staff and set up. Most people will moan about the 3rd Road location, but I appreciate being slightly away from the action on longer stays, if only to encourage more walking and less drinking.
Not the cheapest place on the daily rate, but you can get a good price on the monthly.

I'm on the verge of booking at the Renaissance for a few days in November ( 11th -14th) bazza
How did you find it mate?
I like the the look of that whirlpool bath
Your got yer Mother in a whirl
Shes not sure if your a Boy or a Girl
you know what they say about one man's meat is another man's poison.
Have you actually stayed in the Renaissance pentire? I do recall a negative post about the place but that was in its construction stage.
My experience of the hotel was nothing less than excellent. If I had to be picky, I could say that the breakfast didn't offer the greatest selection of dishes I have seen, but there are so many options just in Soi Diana alone...
My advice is Dave should go for it. If pentire has later information than February this year then please post the details so we may all know.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.
Yes pacman, I had three days there in February staying in a studio apartment with the separate shower and large tub.
Also, they showed me one of those three bedroom penthouse pads on the top floor with the outside large jacuzzi...perhaps the best accomodation I have seen in Pattaya and easily five star.
As Just back from sin city i have to thank pentire for reccomending the LK Pavilion as was nice quietish place to stay when in town and away from the morons on soi buakow.
Got a good monthly rate of 20,000bt plus electric which worked at 7bt p/unit and was about 2500bt added to the bill bit steep i spose but room and bed was nice n big.
Did hav a guy with a resident Lb in next room to me so i only thought proper to add a few Lb guests too during my stay.
WIl try to do some sort of trip report too soon chaps, once again thanks Pentire
Cheers

Hi Dave book it great Hotel great location pool a bit small and cold but not here to swim only used the Jacuzzi twice but big enough for 2
I've stayed at LK Manison and would do so again. Price is 800 baht low season and they have good internet and and pool and the adjoining building. Location is great, you can take a baht bus on 2nd Rd and get off and Central Rd and walk 2 minutes to the hotel, because at this point, 2nd Rd. and Soi Buakow are quite close.
They will take an ID if you go through the main entrance off Soi Buakow. If you go through the alley from Central Rd by the Chinese Restaurant (Leng Kee) then walk in the lobby from the side, you do not have to pass reception to get to your room.
There is an awesome food "court" across Central Rd. from the Leng Kee Restaurant on Pattaya Central Rd.
