Yeah I've noticed ticket prices from US to Asia are coming down a bit from the last two years. I recently went to Shanghai from SF for about $750 all inclusive which was the cheapest ticket I've had in awhile, and it was actually for a Friday night departure and Sunday morning return, which is generally the most expensive type of ticket you can get. I've been looking for good deals to BKK but from SFO haven't seen anything below $900 yet, although that price isn't terribly awful.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!
If things iimprove just a little bit economically, you mongers will find prices ONLY going up. Airlines have taken quite a bit of capacity out of the system. The good news is that if/when things improve, the FIRST place airlines will INCREASE capacity will be high yielding international travel....
"Jet off from Bangkok to 23 exotic destinations throughout Thailand as well as Cambodia, China, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam. With award travel starting at only 15,000 WorldPerks miles, there's never been a better time to go on an Asian adventure!"
I'm very happy with $1050 from Mobile, Alabama to BKK. That's as cheap as i did my first flight in 2007, the next one end of that year cost more like 1200 and beginning of THIS year it was looking like it would be 1300, so it's already gone down almost 300. Sure you get cheapest fares from west coast or nyc maybe but i'm not THERE. Ya pays to be in Dinkville. Look out LOS here I come...for THREE months hehe. I have plans to hit Cambo for a bit also. So Stoagie, tell me about Sunnee???

Yup, Prices have been going up in the last couple of weeks. Booking now, might be a good idea guys.
This one for the UK based guys. Just booked an Eva air flight with ticketstoworld.co.uk 07 march 2010 till 23 March 2010 £476.26, OK not the cheapest in the world, but Expedia were quoting £650 & Eva were quoting £750 (with air miles)
Might not be any good to anyone, but thought it was worth sharing
Well worth the few minutes Seamus, to join their FF club, the "hot" e-fares they post for their members can at times knock your socks off, have been flying on them from london for past few years, I'm sitting here waiting for EVA to put one up for Biz class in April
