I was at the Kitten Club 1 week ago and thought it was a good place. Of course, different strokes for different folks. I took out Nicky and she was very nice. A little tipsy The thing nice about Patty is that you have different strata of entertainment for different budget.

I know some guys who fly Club/1st class. Some stay in 3000 baht rooms and others stay in 600 baht

Some take taxis others take buses
Just respect each persons budget.

If I am going out just for a beer and to admire LB's then there are many venues.
If I want some entertainment thrown in I expect to pay a bit more - Kitten Club is more expensive BUT they have entertainment too.

It does not mean they are "good" or "bad" customers - just customers with different priorities, spending power and choices.

I've been reading a lot about this bar - and having been in it just 2-3 months ago, I wonder if I am missing something.

In December, it was just gg right? If not, then my LB radar must need some new AAAs...

Also, I remember it had a shitty pool table and a Jacuzzi in the back room. Is all this still there or has it been upgraded?

i was there just the last weekend and the weekend before that
its got a great pool table and what they call a large whirlpool jacuzzi at the rear
but that's the gg side

at the moment i think there is a mixture with the LB side opening in the state of the art bar adjoined

Thanks for the update guys - I stayed in the hotel a couple of times in the past and drank/played pool in the club downstairs. I should be back down in a week or so, which means I will check it out for myself. If they are using the actual Penthouse rooms for the short time then it would appear to be worth the cash.

Went there last night with another BM and I must say that neither of US were impressed at all.

There were lots of Ladyboys there, many more than the GG's by about 2-1 but the quality was a very mixed bag.

The place is very loud and crowded and the barfines are very high for anywhere in BKK, let alone Pattaya. Ranging from 600 to 1000 depending on who and when you take somebody with an odd sign about in Thailand its against the law to prostitute etc...  

About 5 customers were there including us at about midnight.  I doubt this place will float as is unless the owner has deep pockets and doesnt mind.

BTW, still only the left side was open but lots of construction bags etc outside.

Last Tuesday both sides open - the Obsession side (RHS) had about 4 LB's outside.
Disagree on BF's - GoGo bars are 500 Up. A beer bar is normally 300 GG/LB.

Sign re prostitution - some bar's staff had to recently attend a seminar at Banglamung re bar requirements.

As a result a few new signs have now surfaced. No Smoking, No Drugs etc etc - some in Thai and some in both English and Thai. I saw the sign in Kitten club and assumed the same - bars are smart to disassociate themselves from prostitution because "yes" it is illegal.

A BF is paid to compensate the bar for taking an employee away from their place of work - nothing more.

Anything over and above that is not the concern of the bar - it is up to you!

I still think Kitten/Obsession has something to offer - I would rather see a spectrum of venues than just the same old format repeated a thousand times.

I was in Kitten Club on wednesday, thursday and friday and the Obsession part/ door was closed. But I managed to catch a wink of my brothers old LB-friend Think you know who I mean. So the LB's are there but looking at the "big crowd it attracked" I think this is not a place that will last.
Think it is not a real shame as in my view it has the same name as the Bangkok-one but certainly not the same quality of staff.

I regret I could not visit you at La Bamba party on friday but there will be other times I am sure. When the heat cools down. (Think you know what I mean)And from picture below think you can imagine I was "occupied"
