      Good approach, I agree.

Well, technically, she gave me a blowjob, she let me fuck her, then when I stopped because of no KY, she then gave me another lame blowjob and jacking me off all them time saying "when you come?". My cock was in her mouth and in her ass, so I guess she tried (in her own way). Like I said, probably a bad day, but her customer service was a bit less than that of Pancake or Ann.

THis doesn't sound like the Noon I know. I have been trying to ring her to organise to meet her when I get to THailand In May. Her phone is off. Can someone tell me if she is still working at the bar?? Thanks

Yes, I am 1000% sure it was Noon. I have hung around the bar enough to be sure who she is. She is good friends with Faa. And yes Noon is working there. BTW, she had a phone with her. I would go get her number for you but I am just leaving Pattaya now.

Don't be put off by my report. All I am seeing is that we did not hit it off sexually.

i was about to post 'sorry to be the first not to like pook bar...' when i read eyemahk's post re noon.

i've had two less than pleasant experiences there. one at the soi buakow location last week and then last night at the soi 6 bar. both times from overly pushy staff. the first time was from noon, although i put that off to a miscommunication exacerbated by an over-eager manager, and it was later ameliorated by a friendly Pancake letting me kick her ass at a few games of pool

but last night was from a wait-person who followed me around as i wandered into the place looking about to see if there was any talent that caught my eye sufficiently to stop for a drink. "where u go?" "what u want?" "what u do?" "u buy drink?" "u buy lady drink?" "why u no sit?" "what u want!" blah blah blah. after over a minute of non-stop, ever-louder pestering i turned to her and said "i want you to stop yelling at me" at which point she begin to yell at me (and about me?) in thai rather than english. so i just shrugged and walked out of the bar.
life's too short, and at least at that moment in time, i saw no talent worthy of tolerating such pushy behavior.
i did however discover 2 new places: "SoWhat" Bar on soi 6 and "Legs" Bar on soi 8, both of which had at least one LB worthy of a second look. They are truly *everywhere* in pattaya now. and with this abundance of options and parcity of customers, service will either step up or lose out. and for me, sorry to say, Pook Bar loses out.

It is only going to get worse, this pushy behaviour. There just aren't the visitors & I have had calls in the past 2 days from Bangkok suppliers
[non-bar businesses], where they were crying at how quiet it is.
One moved to LOS 26 years ago & is now for the first time ever considering moving home before he finds himself wiped out.
I had ambitions to re-locate to LOS but that has been dropped completely while the threat of world-wide recession hangs over all our heads.

I think it's time to bump the "Is Pattaya dying ?" thread.

There is new information to add that we all need to know.
Let no-one be surprised when we start hearing of serious attacks on tourists by starving P4P workers.

I love your latest posts TB, did you swallow a dictionary?

Sure an why not bump the NEP is closing thread and the guys are complaining to much so the forum is closing thread...

Well, I am not cancelling my tickets to LOS...or is there the airport is closing thread?

What a naysayer...Is the glass half full or half empty?
Just add some ice mate and have a stiff drink...The World and the Thai hookers we all love will survive...

                    • Why is it always the messenger who gets shot?

I am sorry for being off topic, but thaibound is only reiterating what is appearing all over the forum - that LOS & Pattaya in particular are very quiet.

A boring topic - yes, negative - yes, but this will become a major issue if any our esteemed BMs fall victim to the downturn.

Others have been warning about it, I don't think I placed the most irrelevant post here tonight.
Goodnight to you Mr Kahuna, let's hope it is nice & busy in time for your return.

                      • Sorry I didn't mean you were off topic...I meant my post was off topic...as is this one...and I'm not shooting the messenger...

I just returned from a three month trip and frankly I didn't see a lack of customers...albeit I didn't spend much time in Pattaya...but the two visits I did make to Sin City it didn't appear to be visibly slowing down...It actually appeared to be crowded with guys...especially Pook Bar (almost on topic) when it was on Soi 6...

Of course the girls will always say things are slow...That's because they remember the one evening they had 3 ST's...

So all you guys who are planning a holiday in LOS, please don't be put off by these posts...Pook Bar will still be there and filled with beautiful girls and the occasional pest...and if it isn't....there will be another bar just like it...

Have sweet dreams Mr. Pacman...I'm just having my Saturday morning coffee...

Maybe your 3 months and your visits to Pattaya coincided with the 4 or 5 weeks of high season that Pattaya seemed to have over Christmas.

All the poorly managed bars that i know are having a hard time. The quality venues seem to be doing better but its only slightly. I have good friends in the bar and hotel industry who have been here many years. They all tell me that they are hurting and hurting badly.

Ive not been in Bangers for a while. Friends tell me of very few bums on seats in Nana Plaza.

I have Thai relatives who work in the bars in Pattaya. They are all broke ( and looking at me- Huh!). Daily tips are down massively- always they could eat for the day on tips received- now they cant. Many are looking for new jobs in the hope of finding a salary- many bars have put their staff on to freelance.

So - off topic again. I am just supporting pacmans views. Pattaya at least faces major problems and the transition to whatever emerges will be very difficult. Todays headlines locally- massive increase in Street crime. QED really.

                          • When I was in Pook Bar at thee beginning of March their was a tendency for the girls to be too pushy but once they all realised I was a regular that changed and the girls were nothing but helpful and friendly. Nook was a great host bought me a few drinks sat and chatted. I can understand some peole might be put off on their first visit. If anyone can get me Noon's number I would greatly appreciate it.

No I wasn't in LOS over Xmas...I spent all of January in Isaan and February and March alternating between Isaan, Bkk and Pattaya....

From solely a consumer point of view, I didn't see it...Every time i tried to go to Pattaya, I couldn't book a room....the hotels I frequent were all booked...not just once but every time I called...In BKK the same was true for the mid-range hotels...and while I am not a frequent visitor of the NEP and Patpong bars...every time I did visit, there were always lots of customers coming and going...

So I will defer to your inside knowledge...But my point was and is...if folks continue to proclaim it's death, it will die...

Back on topic (kinda sorta)...Let's all hope that Pook Bar has a long and successful life...

                                Cheers,

                                Kahuna
