Pook Bar is located directly next door to Hi Boss on Soi 6 in Pattaya. It is a large open air bar. There was a small GoGo upstairs but I think they have discontinued the GoGo. There are a number of dancer poles and pedestals down in the open air part of the bar now. I asked one LB I know there, the one in the white coming out to greet me, how many LBs work at Pook Bar. She counted 12 on hand at the time and then said about 14. It is a fairly major LB venue.
The rooms upstairs (300 baht) are nice by Soi 6 standards. There is a decent bed, nice tile floor and a bathroom/shower with hot water heater. The rooms have three digit numbers on the door and it kind of looks like it was a hotel. There is a spiral staircase to get to the rooms which might be interesting when drunk.
There were quite a few customers in and out last night while I was there playing pool before going to the loom. A number of obvious LB chasers and a few who wandered in off the street and didn€™t know what they were getting into. But the place has a pretty good feel and should be on most any list of bars to visit IMO.
I€™m not 100% sure of the hours but I think it is 2 PM to 2 AM. Although they may open somewhat earlier. But the girl in white told me she starts at 2 PM and I was told the bar closes at 2 AM.
