Students are not allowed to wear their official school uniforms in bars.
We were sitting with a University student who was wearing her black and whites at a bar on Khao San Road.
The police came over and told her she is not allowed to be in a bar in her school gear.
I think it is the 2005 law mentioned in the article.
There may be bars with school girl outfits but they are not the same as the official ones.
If you are wearing the official school uniforms you cannot be in bars.
This is not the same as the sexy school girl outfits, which no real school girls wear.
Students cannot be in bars in Thailand dressed like this:

Anyway things are pretty cool in Hawaii. Got a cat 1 hurricane Douglas coming my way with 90 mph wind and rain. Funny right now is 8:15 AM and no rain with brisk wind. H has shifted slightly North. The eye is not important. It's the spiralling wind's wide swath that concerns me. For years we've had severe beach sand erosion on all shores thanks to melting polar ice and rising sea levels. So there u have it. Huge forest fires. Changing weather patterns aggravated by manmade smog, pollution of the land. air, and water, worldwide anarchy, economic collapse, starvation, civil rights demonstrations, C pandemic, etc. We r finally reaping what we have sown. The crows have come home to roost.
Hooboy, am getting hungry watching so much TV. will see if Home Depot is open. HDouglas is expected to pass by to the north of Oahu late tonight. Very cloudy with dim lights outside, but a brisk wind and no rain yet. I'm not too worried. My area is protected by a large mountain face across the street. If there's a landslide (never been one) it will cover the tennis courts and swimming pool before it reaches me. My worry is flooding.
Take care and forget about immunizing yourselves by not wearing masks. And idea. After this C passes DO be prepared for ANOTHER viral respiratory pandemic which may be more dangerous. Maybe a higher mortality rate. Maybe a constant mutator like AIDS which never allowed a vaccine to be developed. But, then again, it might be a good thing. The population will thin out. Slowly but surely.

The Federal government is obligated by law to protect Federal Facilities. The Federal Officers in Portland were always there, they just sent in more.
I'm not clear how you think burning down a Federal Courthouse is proper? When other Presidents do the same thing it was ok, but why is it not ok for this President?

You mistake me. I am for bashing these young white arrogant schmucks in Portland and Seattle. I do applaud Trump and Homeland Security for sending in hardcore law enforcers. I am against Socialism and Communism. Pro Law and Order. (Hate corrupt cops who bend and break the laws they are supposed to protect.) They need to be stopped cold with batons, bear-sized pepper sprays, and rubber bullets. Just like the Israelis use on dangerous Palestinians and the Chicoms on renegade Hong Kongians. The whole world is dangerously nearing ANARCHY. I am a Republican and a Democrat. A fence sitter. There are some things I like about both parties and not. These rowdies don't listen to law and order or nice warnings. They listen to violence that hopefully will scare them smart. Prison is too nice a place for violent felons and prisoners' rights is a laugh. I prefer the French Guiana prisons from the movie Papillon (Steve McQueen). Quarantine them on an isolated island. Out of sight and out of mind until they are in their 70's when they become wiser and out of steam. Trump is doing a good job beating up the lawbreakers, but he talks like a childish fool. I would love another Republican who acts mature and and listens to intelligent advisors rather than go with his gut reaction because he can't understand complex solutions that require US Consitutionally correct decisions. Crag, I do appreciate your political replies to my own. I have never learned so much since Trump became President. America is in bad shape. Industries and patents sold to the Asians to save on labor costs. Labor unions have ruined everything. Can you imagine paying someone $25.00 an hour watching if the bottle caps are seated correctly on beer bottles coming out of the bottling machines. Of course we love that the Thais are producing our Western Digital hard drives at slave wages so we can afford them. Same for Samsung and other brands of monster digital TV's, Japanese cars, food products, etc. Yes, some are dangerous like milk with Melamine, nails and screws that are not tempered, and more when you read the single star ratings of all kinds of products sold on Amazon.com. The Chinese cannot make quality products at such low profit margins. We should expect short lifes and buy another new product. After all we are a throwaway society. We throw away good clothes, cars, buy new homes, and divorce so easily. Consumerism runs amock while we demand more civil rights and entitlements in medical care, college tuition, and every kind of freebie possible. Personally I have worked for all I have. I studied hard and passed all the required national and State board exams.
Currently Trump is now trying to appear on the podium WITHOUT Brix and Fauci et al. He wants to appear to take charge without critical feedback. That's not the way to run a country. Opening up the economy is a far better idea. People are going to get this thing no matter what.

Nancy Pelosi is against liability protection for businesses, I think that is the most important thing.

I don’t understand why anyone who is involved with a transgender woman would support Trump. His base of supporters are evangelicals like Mike Pence. These people would literally like to exterminate every LGBT person in the country along with all their friends and lovers. Every time Trump has an opportunity he tries to eliminate LGBT rights. I don't understand why people would choose to vote on one issue that is very murky and not clear.
Supporting transgenders is one thing, but not every transgender policy is good or needed.
There is lots of things I would like but i have to compromise with other people.
The thing I don't like about the modern LGBT movement is they are not flexible and will only settle for complete compliance to all ideas.
When supporting a candidate i look at all their policies, not one.
The fact is that LGBT have massive rights in the USA. I'm not clear what Trump has really done to transgenders in the end?
Some regulations have been changed with mainly just some of the wording changed.
They are not rounding up transgenders in the streets and making them disappear.
People have different beliefs and ideas. You don't like Evangelicals and maybe some of them don't like transgenders.
Evangelicals will vote Republican no matter who the candidate is. Democrats are coming out more and more against religion.
They can hate religion but they shouldn't be able to tear down Jesus statues and put up Kaitlynn Jenner instead.
The fact is you both have to live together and both parties have the rights to their beliefs.

I support not allowing transgenders not to compete against genetic girls in sports, this will ruin women's sports.
I have mixed feelings about transitioning while in the Military and having operations be tax payer funded.
Originally transgenderism was called a medical condition, more and more it has just been a lifestyle.
So many want the benefits of it being a medical condition without admitting they have one.
If they don't actually have a medical condition then why should we pay for surgeries?
If they can get a free operation for tits or a pussy, then I should be able to get a face lift or a penile transplant etc.
I support transgenders very much, but there is also other issues that are more important in the grand scheme of things.
Taxes, International relations, war, pandemics, economy, and other issues are also of interest to me.
Not everyone will always get their way in politics but groups like LGBT do not compromise.
Trans is not a real sex or gender, it is a state of transition from one sex to the other.
Many are trying to create a new sex where none exists.
It is becoming that each persons personal identity has to be specifically protected by law.
If one person makes up a gender for themselves then others are just supposed to accept this.
The Democrats don't really support trans rights, it is just part of their identity politics platform.
They just assume all LGBT will vote for them automatically.
I don't feel i have to reject the entire Administration because of some difference in opinion on one subject.
Transgenders live very well in the USA.
