The fact that it is a LB DOES change my focus, because it changes THEIR focus. There are no issues of she having a son/daughter to provide for, which is the case in 80-90% of the GGs that work in "the business." LBs in "the business" are not supporting their son/daughter back home.

Well, I can't really comment on visiting a home of a LB, never done that. Been to some places in the sticks, once with a GG that worked in a bar and another time with a co-worker - no I wasn't fucking this one, so that changes things. .

From what I remember, you can speak some Thai, correct? This will make it easier to be there, and easier on your LB friend, as she will not have to translate everything. Or maybe she will, as one of the places I went, most didn't even speak Thai (they spoke Isaan/Lao). Both of my visits were back when I could speak Thai very little. And my knowledge of Thai culture was quite limited.

If you are like me, you will likely find the novelty will wear off (for you and especially for her) after a day or so. After two or three days, you will be wanting to get out of there - so will she too. Perhaps your experience will be different, but I strongly suggest you have an out (in a Thai way of doing it too.) Everyone will appreciate that.

You need to decide WHY you are going. Just to see some more of Thailand? To make her happy? To get serious with her?

I strongly recommend staying in a hotel with her, then you can retreat there and also shag her there and maybe go off to see some sights with just the two of you. If you're staying in the house, this will be a problem.

When I visited the home of a GG I knew (and I was her customer), it was not expected of me to pay for everything. I was attending a wedding and I was just along as a companion. People likely knew I was screwing their cute daughter, but no one gave me hassles or said anything. Neither of the two of us took our relationship seriously either, so that helped to keep matters light.

One small token gift for mom and dad are all that is required. If they are out in NakornNowhere, they are likely simple people. And they will not let on that they know your relationship with her involves money exchange, but they surely know. (I am assuming you pay her money but excuse me if this is not correct).

I was never asked for money from anyone. I bought some beers and paid for some food that was bought in the market, that is it.

Don't think too much. My guess is that it won't be as great as you think it will be, and it won't be as bad as others think it will be.

DP, I'm quite shocked about your comments on lb treatment in the sheets. Surely the parents would mind. If I ever grow enough nads to match Si Gee's feat, shite stabbing won't be on my list of to dos... Then again, you'll never see me within 100 miles of a jungle unless it's air conned...

As for FF, I've come to the conclusion that he is being held as a sex slave to an amazonian lb. He has not tried to escape.

Well, I think you're looking at it from a Western perspective perhaps. I don't really know - I'm just going off of what I've been told - although my actual observation was quite different. As you may recall on my third trip (I didn't write a trip report as it was more personal in nature), I went to Chiang Mai to stay with my tee rak's family. She's a non-working LB and was from a moderately wealthy family, they had two houses (BKK and CM) and a Volvo and Toyota truck, so maybe its a class thing also, but she didn't dare have sex with me when the parents were around - but if they weren't home I had free reign.

Anyways, I digress. A few LBs have told me they brought their boyfriends home before and had sex even while there parents were home. I got on the topic because in high school, university (if they even go), it is quite common for young Thais to continue to live at home as they usually won't have money to move out - especially if they make an honest living and usually most of the Thai louts (guys) don't live out unless they bunk 5 deep to a room. So I always wondered where did they go to bump uglies and some of the ones mentioned ST hotels, but more often they said they would bring them back to their homes.

At any rate, I don't really have any qualms about doing it with the parents around. Its never stopped me before.

So once again let me say something and caveat it by first saying that it is anecdotal evidence based on discussions with a few LBs.

While its true that LBs won't have young children to support, they may still be expected to provide parental support or financial support to the extended family. So that's a reason for LBs to ply the trade enough. However, I heard that one of the main reasons (at least to the ones I talked to) is that they must work hard now to save for themselves as in the future when they get old they will not have a husband or any children of their own to take care of them. Basically, they were resigned to the fact that as their beauty fades they will eventually be left alone with only themselves. I won't get into the debate about LBs and normal jobs, but the fact is many of them don't enter the business world for whatever reason and after working in a bar for say 10-15 years of your life, theres not a lot you can do to make money. I guess work a hair salon or something like that, but we all know its crap money.

This is a very good point, never really thought about it. I've screwed hundreds of different GGs in Thailand and spent loads of time with them, so my perspective on them is much more solid than on a LB. It would be interesting to see if a LB feels the same samneuk boon koon (สำนึกบุญคุณ- honoring the debt to their parents - specifically, their mother) than that of girls. Next week, after I screw one, maybe I'll ask her. I'll bet I'll be the only customer to ever ask them this.

look after the parents in their old age.but times change..
I know a few girls that are responsible for the care of the parents (not just the "send money")
Samneuk boon koon can be shown to anyone,not just parents.
Ladyboy Mae's are shown SBK also and can make a tidy little income from her "children"
Ladyboys can get married (I'm at a wedding later this month and it's the 3rd since December)

But,the fear of growing old and lonely without people to care for them is why some

Very very true. And it is typically very strong towards parents, especially mothers. NF, as you know, children in Thailand grow up with a few core values, it is my experience that the strongest of these are samneuk boon koon and kreng jai.

I have not elaborated on this before. It may be pertinent.

1. We met in early May.

2. Been with her? Well, I've been with her since then I guess. I mean we're on the phone, email, letters, msn daily. When she was in SG, I was seeing her almost every night. And there were nights when she skipped work and spent time with me.
