BigTel, that is a classic camera the Nikon F series are excellent 35 mm SLRs! You take all your photos in Thailand with the 28 mm lens? Do you scan your prints into you computer when you get back home?

Good quality prints using a good scanner give excellent results as well. Your Fuji bridge camera is one of the better point and shoot digitals.

      Hi rxpharm
Yes I only use the 28mm lens, I really enjoying using this lens and the F3 just oozes quality, just love the feel of this Camera. I take my rolls of film into a local Kodak shop and get them exposed and put onto a CD as a JPG, then when I am back home in the U.K. I go through the shots and if there are any I want to put up in my Home, I use the negatives to get the Quality print.
I went for the Fuji after a bit of trial and error, initialy I bought a Nikon D50, then managed to get dust and hairs inside the camera, got fed up of using the spot heal tool so decided to sell the D50 and buy a fixed lens digital to alleviate the dust problems.
Now I am happy with the combination of Cameras that I use, giving me the best of two formats.
I use my Digital a lot in the U.K. especially when out walking in the Countryside, it's great practise and makes me look forward to when I use my Nikon on Holidays.

      all the best
      Terry

Brilliant!   Reminds me of watching the sunset over the low hills behind Mackay in Queensland.

I'm looking at getting a new small snapshot camera which is pocketable.

After looking around carefully I have come up with this one:-  Canon Ixus 75

Anyone had any experience or got any comments about them?

By the way they are available for about £118-140 in the UK now.
