  • Sounds like a party ! Aum says the only falang is a regular expat that dates the LBs there... his an older fella but can hang in there. I met him ( Mr P in my trip report ) the rest are friends of owner . Owners bf and son...I don't expect any expats are the Hollywood club type... Aum still gets tips but it pretty slim.

        • Yes and the women there are insanely hot, and it is totally ladyboy friendly.
Many ladyboys like to go there so it could be a nice pick up spot.
High end so you should dress up a bit.
          Overall the best club ever.

This one looks like a possible ladyboy.

          • Quite the happening place!

It kind of reminds me of the old days when the Bed Supper Club/Bar was the place on Sukhumvit Soi 11 - a lot of lbs used to drop in there as well. The Narcissus Club (NARZ) Sukhumvit Road 23 is also quite popular.

The Soi 11 party scene has really died. Climax disco and other places are all gone.

Sing Sing is my kind of place.....

                • WOW! Definitely going to list this place on my bucket list. Crag, you should start a thread Thailand Entertianment Tonight so we inexperienced tourists and foreigners can learn what's HOT in Bankok, Pattaya, and Phuket. Tell us about restaurants, ladyboy xpecial parties, new bars, places to shop, tourist spots to visit. Although I have already shared lots of photos and tips in the past I can do more when the vaccinations begin. I still want to visit the idyllic island of Ko Samui and compare other places to Haweaii. I love mixing with Thais. When in Thailand, do as the Thais do.

                  • Well all the best clubs and stuff like that have all been introduced to me by ladyboys.
Probably any ladyboy in Nana can show you the best party spots in Bangkok.

                      • I miss Thailand. Everybody who hears I vacation there every winter envies me. They don't call it Bangkok for nothing. Always newer and prettier Kats everywhere we go. Later on just before I return in wd inter 2021 I'll ask for a bucket list of exciting doliscos to check out. Bet those shots were taken BEFORE the C pandemic. Bet the government already shut the popular party places down. But we'll all be back. Won't we? Yeah!

                        • Pattaya walking street as we know it has gone...
                          article quoted below...
"Pattaya’s famed Walking Street has been completely re-branded after the devastation of the coronavirus pandemic.

There are no foreign tourists at all so the street is trying to appeal to Thais by going 24 hours and offering street food.

And it is also open to one-way traffic and parking.

Manager reported that Walking Street has opened its arms to Thais and following a successful trial period the street would be open all day.

This is all to encourage local Thai tourism, they said.

After a crisis meeting with local operators, mayor Sontaya Khunpluem said it was obvious that the country was not open and there were no foreign tourists. So Thais need to be the new normal for Walking Street.

There are plans to promote street food and street food events to encourage domestic tourists. He said he would be liaising with the culture and tourism ministries to promote various events.

Premrudee Saekhow who fronts an association of northeasterners said they would be putting on some special food and drinks parties for Loy Krathong.

Pattaya’s Walking Street, as we know it, has gone."

Pattaya is becoming like a disintegrating ice shelf only there's ladyboys getting trapped on floating 'bergs not polar bears. Boys, we might have to go rescue them before its too late ...

                          • It will be back, it is still walking street.
Every town in Thailand has some sort of walking street, if they feel changing it for now for Thais that is fine.
I cannot see any reason it would not go back to normal?

Walking street was always open for one way traffic and parking during the day, that is not new.

                            • Another"plan" ... open up Phuket in October and make ppl stay on there hotel (within 1 km so not really a quarantine; more a travel restriction) ..that catch... you cannot leave the island and you must book for a month plud the hotel during "quarantine" isn't your choice. Not sure who would take this trip.

The Thai government is desperately trying to get the Thai people to take vacations with in Thailand, however as the article points out, only a fraction of all the available hotel vouchers and Airline vouchers are being used by the Thai people. It just goes to show you that the cost of holidays within Thailand is out of the reach, finacially, for the majority of the people who actually live there. We all have observed it has been getting more and more expensive to holiday within the country (such places like Phuket are the best example).

The xenophobia is running high on Phuket after the tourism authority said it would use the island to pilot the return of foreign tourists for the first time since March. Many on the island and elsewhere slammed plans to partially reopen for the upcoming high season to stem deeper economic…
