I too have a daughter entering her university stage. I have given her all I could in life but her education is by fair my greatest contribution. Unfortunately I do not see the end of the contribution which truly curtails the extent of my LOS visits, exploits, and plans to retire.

Join the club, man..... imagine how well I could live in Thailand on 4 or 5K a month rather than 2K?

  In 5 or 6 years however, when she has a great job and a great life because of what I am doing for her, it will all have been worth it I am sure. And frankly she's worth it; she's the bright spot in my life, I brought her into this world and I can live well on 2K so it's a no-brainer.

I was looking out at the car park this morning and noticed that the cars come in one way and exit another and thought, "Hey, that's kinda sorta like my mind."

my gears are stripped...There is no reverse...I can't back up my mind any longer...Just as well, some ladyboy stole my mirrors...

There are around 52 guys in the world that carry a playing card in their wallet. Mine is the Jack of Clubs. David R(sssshhh), a Hollywood Scriptwriter carries the 7 of Diamonds. Are there any card carrying members here... i doubt it....

The reason you will never know but ill tell you another use. I was about to check out of my Hotel in Hong Kong and had arrived at reception to pay the bill. I said" do you accept cards". The girl said yes" we accept all cards"

I said " well heres the Jack of Clubs" and put the playing card on the counter. She looked at me and started laughing ... i kept a straight face and said " sorry?, you said you accept any card.

I stared at her with a hard grimace and then the smile was wiped off her face. She was about to call the manager when i started laughing and she realized that it was in fact a joke

The challenge is to see how long you can keep a straight face. That isnt the reason i carry the card though.
