RIP
I was reading yesterday about the violinist on the Titanic who played on with the band with water swirling around there legs as the ship was sinking . They all drowned but played on until the last gasp.
Now theres a stiff upper lip for you. can you imagine that happening today. I doubt if the men would be so generous with the lifeboat protocols that were extant then.

I love the English weather forecast on radio 4. It's all expressed in terms or rain.
: 'some dry patches in the South East', 'rain easing to showers in the North', 'scattered showers in the Lake District. 'wet periods for Malin Head' ...

(Torurot @ May 28 2010,17:08) How many American actually prefer Budweiser as their beer of choice?
Kinda like Marlboro red box is the main choice for wannabe macho young men and has been for years.
With the influx of all the foreign imports and of course the famous designer micro-breweries like Sam Adams, et al, plus people watching their caloric and carb intake, Bud has gone way down in popularity.
Not a big beer guy myself these days, but when I DO drink in the states or Canada it's always the Blue!!Attached FilesEven a broken clock is right twice a day.Comment
