Iranians aren't even Arabs,they dont speak Arabic, and they are not even the same brand of Islam as the Palestinians. Their support for Hamas has more to do with their hatred of America than love of the Palestinians.
This hatred of America is completely understandable when you look at America's backing of Iraq's invasion of Iran,and the killing of 3 million Iranians in the subsequent war.
The Americans also supplied military hardware to Iraq,and the chemicals for their nerve gases they used against the Iranians.There is also evidence they actively got involved in the war,for those who want to check that out.

I think Kahuna earlier posited the question "why do they hate us?"... try looking at the history of American foreign policy and the CIA involvement in foreign fields..then maybe you can see why America is not as popular as the ill-informed think it should be.

They actually had video evidence of Tom Hurndalls murder and the Israeli government sent a check to the family for $12,000 which bounced due to insufficient funds in account. My guess is the US tax payer was late in filling the account.

Now Tb , as a learned person, I'd like to hear your thoughts on china, on matters other than the one already presented. What are your thoughts on the systematic persecution & destruction of the Muslim sector in the north west region of china? Is Mongolia policy going down the right path? Should Taiwan be allowed proper independence without the continual threat to be anihilated? Was the Chinese role in Vietnam warranted? How responsible do you feel china should be for the current problems in the korean peninsula given it's decision to send 1 million troops, under the guise of the pva, instead of the pla? Was it right of china to attack the united nations forces? And prolong a war that has seen 20 million family members seperated?

Now I am curious and well aware it's off topic, but i'm actually interested to see if your blind hatred for the us clouds your perceptions of the other world issues?

wrong azza -youre ill-informed when you only know one side of the story,or deliberately ignore anything that contradicts your chosen stance. To be well-informed means you have investigated the subject from all angles,and having evaluated the evidence ,formed an opinion.
Your ignorance of American foreign policy indicates you have never delved into the murky world of the CIA.If you are not a great reader,have a look on you tube,there are lots of documentaries on there on the CIA and American foreign policy,many of them made by former CIA men.Christoher Hitchens has written a great book entitled "the trial of Henry Kissinger"-there is a documentary on you tube about the book also.It will open anyones eyes.Hitchens holds mostly different opinions to mine,but I could never call him ill-informed.

I'm only well informed about the Palestinian's situation.sorry-I cant help you with the Chinese question-start another thread,and I'll sit it out.
