Since the foundation of the Israeli state in 1948 the US has given the same amount of money to Israel than the US has given to all other counties together. About 62.5billion. The recent US deal for aid to Israel works out at $10,000 per Israeli citizen. Blueballs take a walk round some of the areas around New Orleans still suffering after Katrina, some of the suburbs outside Detriot, or all the "tent cities" around the US. I can put my hand on my heart and say there is not one young Irish family living in a tent. There would be plenty in the US and were the fuck is their $10,000, I'll tell you were it is, in the back pocket of some Jewish settler in the west bank. You know the Israeli government was forced to move settlers from Gaza about 2 or 3 years ago. They refused to move but agreed when they were all given $220,000 per household which the US paid for and am guessing you pay your taxes so that you who is footing that bill. The American tax payers are funding an apartheid state when the massive amounts of money could be used to help the Americans who really need it. Am pretty sure there would be alot of congress men, senators and white house staff feel the same, but it all boils down to the Israeli lobby. Pull the plug on Israel and your political career is over.

Yes but how many other treaties and international laws has Israel broken in the past and will more than likely break in the future.

If you actually look at a map that clearly shows settlements in the west bank, they are all just dots connected with little lines that are roads. Palastinians are not allow near the settlements nor are they allowed use the roads. You have to be Jewish to use the roads. This network is also designed to cut off Palastinian communities from each other. The Jewish only roads can circle a small village and the locals unable to use the roads rely completely on small amounts of aid from Israel. The Israelis are using basic medical supplies and food as weapons which is illegal. Israeli settlers are required by Israeli law to have firearms and many settlers abuse that and frequently attack the locals by firing randomly from their fortified settlements.

One of the biggest factors on the Israeli apartheid is the voices of all the Jewish settlers. They call the shots and can make or break a government over there. Kinda like the senior citizens vote in the US.

These guys call the shots in the Israeli government, so in essence have a big influence on American policies.
