I don't know that it ceased at that time. I do not have links to any supporting articles, but I've read some of the things Israel has done to the Palestinians back in the 50s and 60s and while it may not be by strict definition, terrorism, it was just as bad.
I've read the entire thread, and IMO when discussing the Israel of today, there is a cause and effect exchange that goes back to at least 1948, so any aspect of Israel and occupied Palestine since that time is suitable discourse for this thread.

I am sure most Irish nationalists could claim with some justification to think the same about the British, as could the Brits about the Irish in fairly recent times.

Its funny but EGYPT actually supports this "blockade", up until yesterday that is. Its a shame that the Arab wourl doesnt give a shit about the Palestinians. The Oslo treaty was packaged as a peace deal and that it would give the Palasitinian people there own country. It give them two big prison camps situated inside Israel.

Your very wrong about the laying down of arms bullshit. If the Palastinians layed down the very little arms they actually have, it will just make Israels plans of cleansing the areas of the west back and Gaza a whole lot easier. Lets be honest people that is Israels actual goal in all this. To make things so unbearable that the Palastinian people will finally have to leave their OWN country. They are using food as a weapon in starving the people of Gaza. They are breaking so many international laws and going against so many parts of the geneva convention it begs belief that they are actually getting away with it. Murder.
