It was a shot in the dark cause I thought she was married to the writer Coen brother and not the director.

They both have generally co-written their movies or at least the screenplay. In the credits of earlier movies, like The Big Lebowski and Fargo, Ethan would be listed as Producer and Joel as the director even though they both did both. In later movies, since The Ladykillers in 2004, they've each been listed in credits for both.
Ethan btw, is married to a Film Editor named Tricia Cooke.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

Its on the History Channel here often. Not a bad series but I tend to prefer "Engineering an Empire" which tells a lot about older empires and stuff that they did which led to their downfall.. stuff that is shocking.
Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Assuming you're talking about "Inception" (and surprised by your enlightened appreciation of quality film scores) I'd heartily agree. I think Hans Zimmer is a genius (The Dark Night, Gladiator, Driving Miss Daisy, Thelma and Louise) and his music usually makes the films even more interesting than they would be otherwise.
There's a cut in "Inception" when they jump to the dream of one of the protagonists, and it's an obvious homage to "On Her Majesties Secret Service" - a snow field filled with soldiers in white snowsuits. The music cue is an amazing facsimile of the glorious swells from a John Barry Bond soundtrack. One of my favorite moments in the film.
Why? Because it's one of the most interesting and fun films of the summer, that's why!
Why? Because I said so, that's why.Making newbie mistakes since 2009 so you don't have to

Another flick worth seeing is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. OK, it's in Swedish with English subtitles and the killer reveal (actually he isn't the killer... oh you have to see it) is hardly a surprise but Noomi Rapace is excellent in the lead role and the whole shebang trots along at a nice pace with a tight and flab-free edit.
As for "the scene" with the guardian, I don't know what the fuss is about... I think I might kind of enjoy that punishment...
