9/11 Conspiracy? Or did we get the truth?

Just want to say to tourot that I read about a 30 page conspiracy theory and the "evidence" that made these people disbelieve the 'official' version.
I can see why you are excited but again the information presented is a mere theory and nobody can be bothered testing it - for the obvious reasons.
From my reading it appears the biggest issue people have is some unexplained phenomina- easiest option is the bomb theory. Now as stated earlier there is no precedent to this type of event. No engineer considered this type of event in a modern plane. Nobody really knew how it would burn, what would burn, what colors, what dust clouds may do. Simply because it's impossible to study such and event. Take for instant the molten metal - very odd indeed- I agree - but I'd consider that the energy released when a 100 story building collapses in under 10 seconds would be dissipated as sound and heat- to me the unimaginable energy release could easily account for that event. I'd more than likely believe that than it be the remnants of a thermite blast.

There will always be unexplained things when a never witnessed event occurs. Science generally learns through restesting and observing- sometimes that's just not feasable - this is one such event. Intelligent people will make reasoned analysis and present a most likely scenario - will it explain everything - no chance.
Of course some learned people can put together a conspiracy theory and some minds may be more inclined to want to accept that line of thought.

All I can say for the conspiracy theorists is that there are a million loose ends in your theory. The 'official' outcome whilst not without inexplicable omissions is a whole lot closer to plausable.

Azza, it's not my theory. The Fish box needed stirring up. Until a month ago I had never heard that the lift towers where being refurbished. Previous "conspiracy" deniers have always said that setting explosives was entirely impossible because it would be noticed. Not if you had unlimited plausible access to the central structure, which just happens to be the lift area..

On that basis I move my initial vote from choice 1, to choice 3.

Just like Chapelle, many things were NOT function as they ought to have been on that fateful day.

In the interest of science, demolition specialists should have studied the perfect drops so they can remove old buildings better & safer..

In the context of this thread, it only means an apology should be given by the ill-informed people who still stand outside the world trade center to this day handing out leaflets to passer-by claiming that the towers were brought down by some idiotic conspiracy theory ......if your Dad or brother were a firefighter or worked in one of the buildings that were hit that day, it would seem rather offensive is all; I know it wouldn't make me too happy.

Of course the US owes apologies to all the people you are mentioning above, from Iraq to Afghanistan to the Indians and the slaves and dozens of other countries we have started wars with; but start another thread if you want to hear it for that, this one is about 9/11 conspiracies.

Here is what I think about 9/11. Al-Qaeda operatives, who in a way could be classed as Ex-CIA operatives as they were trained and funded by the CIA to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 80's, planned and pulled off the 9/11 attacks. I think the US administration at the time made a complete bollocks of capturing the people involved (ie Bin Laden) as their attentions were wrongly turned to Iraq with dollar signs appearing in their eyes with the thought of lucritive deals on Iraqs oil supplies.

I also believe that the war being fought in Afghanistan is a just war for a number of reasons. The first reason being Al-Qaeda based in Afghanistan killed 3000 american citizens on american soil. Another reason being the Taliban who allowed Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan are a cruel and repressive regime which to give a couple of examples, dont allow television, dont allow girls to have an education, stone people to death for adultery.

Before 9/11 Al-Qaeda jihadists had their own check area in Afghan airports in Kandahar and Kabul. To this day Taliban leadership will still not renouce Al-Qaeda because many of there ranks are made up of Al-Qaeda members from Pakistan, Yemen, Uzbekistan etc.

Anyone who disagrees with the war in Afghanistan should try living under Taliban law and anyone who thinks George W Bush and a bunch of Neocons planned 9/11 need their heads examined.
