And as if we all have the same moral compass...we dont. And I dont see any moral imperitive not to speak about an issue that is pretty serious in Europe. Thats the problem, people dont speak up...

Of course, if we were all living in an Islamic country then we wouldn't be able to speak up. Nor would we have sites such as this. We'd all be persecuted as enemies of God because of the homosexual subject matter that this site promotes.

big Mosques with Minarets are a symbol of power for Islam and therefore a provocation.

I don't know why people always link everything to religion. IMO, the purpose of building minarets were:

- To spread the voice of Azaan (Call for prayers) to reach maximum distance in older times when there were no equipments like amplifiers etc

- To keep an eye on the enemy as binoculars were not invented

So being muslim, I think its a matter of symbolic architecture  that can be changed if you are living in a foreign country and most of the people think it doesn't match with their cultural architecture. Fine. Why create a fuss. Why can't we have a mosque without minarets?

The thing I don't agree is the way they showed minarets as missiles. That's a cheap attempt to create hatred. Also, if this becomes a norm then every muslim country will force non muslim immigrants and non-muslim countries will force muslim immigrants to build their churches/mosques/gurdwaras/temples as per their style which will create nothing but more hatred and give a chance to fanatics from both sides to shine. Also, this will be a disaster for creativity. Democracy means freedom. or am I missing anything?

People talk about wars quite easily but what would someone do after a global war. Why can't we make this world a better place to live and prosper?

With 9 Billion and more expected soon on the planet some hope of that. There are more wars coming thats for sure. You name it its going to be in short supply... just look at the land and food grab thats going on now

If you choose to live your life as a racist who chooses to stereotype everyone who is a certain race or religion........your choice.........personally I have no use for people who doesn't have the moral fiber to judge someone as an individual instead of what color their skin is or which god they choose to worship.

Of course all muslims have the same ideals as Osama Bin Laden and the same beliefs in the narrow minded world of a mypoic individual who can't sustain an independent thought..........and that is not only sad but rather pathetic as well............. good luck with that
