I'm not so sure that you are correct here foxee. Where did you get your information from? I work with TSI communities in North Queensland and none of them are Muslim and most of them have very little knowledge about the religion.

I'd be interested to hear how you came to your conclusion.


Just came back from Sydney. Apart from a quick visit to "Transcend" on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills (fucked a very cute Thai LB there), I was in western Sydney for the most part and saw many Lebs who don't appear that friendly. Maybe we haven't risen to their high level of decency yet and therefore attained their respect? I can't wait till that happens! I guess first I'll have to marry my cousin, put a $5000 stereo system in my car, and move to the shittiest suburb I can find!

Is a ban like this inevitable in the US? I think it goes without saying that we're largely ignorant of what's going on in other countries, so I doubt many people here even realize this is going on in Europe.

the answer is long and complex!

in short: I don't have problems with muslims, I have problems with islamisation and with islamists.

The problem with living with a lot of muslims is that statistically, there must be a few islamists inmidst the crowd of ok muslims.


Islam has many fervent believers.

I think people who believe fervently (in any religion) = idiots.
(I don't have any respect for christian, judaic or other nuts either, BTW).


The trouble with fervent muslims is that the books of Islam contains plenty of problematic stuff with great potential for violence.

Biggest problem is that the Koran cannot be changed, because it is defined as being the exact words of god.


That's why fervent muslims are in my opinion more dangerous than other religious nuts (like amish, mormons, practicing protestants or christians, traditional jews, etc.) - because the others mostly live quietly in their corner and leave the rest of the world alone.


So, no "fervent muslims" for me please.
Women who want to wear the burka and men who want their wives to wear it should stay at home.
The reason is not that they don't have the right to wear what they want, the reason is that I don't want too much fervent muslims around me.

By the way, the vote is through and the result is 57% IN FAVOR of the ban of minarets.

lat week i went to quote a job opposite a catholic primary school.
i was stunned to see 90% of the pupils coming outside were wearing headscarfs and had asian skin.
when i asked the lady who had called me out, what was going on, she told me-
"they change religion to get into the schools. then they pull them out to celebrate asian festivals, like diwahli, eid, and ramadam".

and there was me remembering my catholic schooling.
not quite the same somehow.

i was being politically correct.
how do i know if they are indian, pakistani, or bangladeshi.?
they all look the same.
in the uk, we use the bracket "asian" to cover all these countries.
but we use the term "south east asian" for our little holiday friends.
