I like Ron Paul, so there is one conservative, in the truest sense of the word, (not that neocon crap that Dubya, Cheney and their ilk adhered to), that I like. The USA would be so much better off if there were more Ron Pauls in congress IMO.

This middle of the road pick and choose crap like we get from the Republicrats, is going to get us more of the same as we have now. All 90% of them care about in congress is getting reelected.

We should either follow the principles and beliefs of a strict Constitutionist like Paul, or go completely Socialist like Sweden.

Here in the UK, the Labour party is totally useless and their leaders should be tried for treason for what they have done, but the Liberal Democrates (yes they try to be the third way but everyone knows they are Labour light) I think Vince Cable has been spot on everytime when talking about the economic crisis whilst Darling lives in his Labour dreamworld and Osbourne is obviously out of his depth. I also like the Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg, I think he comes across as a good leader but his trouble is there are too many loonies in his party.

As for US politics, Joe Lieberman always seems to be ok, although it's hard to compare US and UK politics as the US is much more conservative than the UK and I think I'd have to live there before I got the whole story rahter than the spin we get from the BBC.
