Only an ostrich with their head buried in the sand, would consider an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation as a highlight of any presidency. Iraq was not or ever was a real threat to the USA, but BushCo was able to convince most of the sheeple in the USA that they were. If you were so behind the idea, did you put your money where your mouth is and volunteer to go? Or are you like your buddy Rush who used some lame excuse like a cyst to stay out of the military and Vietnam?

How many ladyboys would you say live in the former North Vietnam...as compared to the former South Vietnam? Out of the 1.4 billion people that live in Communist China, North Korea and the former North Vietnam, one could probably find a few ladyboys. Does the percentage of ladyboys in Communist nations equal the percentage of ladyboys in Thailand, or in any other Western nation? Since you choose to mention Vietnam as an exception; do you think that Vietnam could ever become like Thailand in it's tolerance to ladyboys?
Lefty, your question regarding volunteering is moot...I don't fall within the age guidelines. I suggest you put your question to the thousands of American service men and women who did volunteer and who are proud of their service to their country. Do you think that they thought that their service in Iraq was a waste of time? Since you think that we should have left Saddam in power...I suppose you didn't care when he invaded Kuwait?
