Personally I have weird music tastes.. see if you like.

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

From my main man, Willie. With a little levity from Burt on the side.

      ― Henry Ward Beecher

"Inflexibility is the worst human failing. You can learn to check impetuosity, overcome fear with confidence and laziness with discipline. But for rigidity of mind, there is no antidote. It carries the seeds of its own destruction." ~ Anton Myrer

To me, Johnny Cash was a god. There will never be another to equal him. This is one of my favorite JC songs.

One thing that is amazing about Karl at Ezy Bar is he remembers what everyone's favorite songs are. He sees you come in and soon after he will play them. If it is one of the gazillion mp3s he has saved in his HD that is. It would be more like you'd get hit by lightning than for Karl not to have your song(s).
Anyway, I have 3 favorites, he usually always plays for me, here is one..

This is a great one to play at 2 or 4 in the afternoon after you wake up somewhere in Thailand and look out over your balcony

Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage

Good post there A. Bear (though not exactly original   )

This song would guarantee a packed dance floor everytime it was played....

                back in the 70's...

Fast forward 35 years & it still get's 'em up...            Is that some kind of record?
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

I am guessing only a handful of BM's at most know this band, they broke up in the 90's when the singer committed suicide.

                      But had a few classic songs in their day, I heard this one in my Ipod today and it made me smile per usual;

                    Let it buffer!!

Good choice Jaidee. Am a fan of some of N.E.R.D stuff. This song about the Us stock market meltdown is great.

Pharrell Williams of NERD and the Neptunes is literally a genius.

He can do more stuff on mixer and sound boards than just about anyone this side of Trent Reznor.

I knew a guy who bought the domain name pharrellwilliams.com back in 2002 or so......Pharrell threatened to take him to court  to obtain the name [and he surely would have won] so the guy settled for 1500 bucks...... never cashed the Pharrell- signed check, it's framed on his wall

He could probably get 3 or 4 times that amount on Ebay for that check by now.

So you do like some genres besides heavy metal. There's hope for you yet Hud.
